Very nice
Really great printing with lots of logos. It has some very nice intelligent and sometimes really funny footnotes about the logos too. They’re so small they’re easy to miss which I appreciate. The author is humble and gets out of the way, preferring to design the book well and serve lots of logos. This is a fantastic book that covers a wide period of time and many logos from mainstream corporate logos to less well known logos. The printing is very good too. The black ink stands out well.Only downside is the spine came slightly broken already and the book wants to fall onto a certain page when it’s opened and doesn’t want to open to other pages as easily. I don’t know if it got damaged or the book binding is cheap.Definitely a keeper of a book though for the content.

Dented corner
The book itself is good. But I am really annoyed of how it packaged. Both my initial order and replacement order got dented corners.

Not quite what I was expecting.
I thought the book would be more of an analysis of various logos and why they work. It's more of a celebration and showcase of various logos rather than a deep dive.

Useful for designers and educators
Arrived promptly and well packaged. An informative and well organised presentation of just about any logo that you've ever seen. Designs have been grouped into logotypes and letters, symbols and families and sequences, and each section is marked clearly in dark ink along the page edges which cuts out the need to look up a page number in order to find the beginning of a section. The book starts with a concise response to the question, 'What is a logo?' and is a highly-readable foundation for what is to come. Each section then starts with a brief overview of that category of design. A huge number of logos to look at which have the designer credited. I find this great. We are surrounded by familiar logos on thousands of products, yet can we name the designers who created them? Do we actually notice that a logo is the product of a creative mind, a brief, and a design process? The book does not go into detail on this, but it provides a starting point for anyone interested in further reading or research. I would recommend this book for any young person studying design, for any designer who is just starting out in their career, and for anyone who loves design and is interested in how it shapes and affects everyday lives.

If you like famous logos in black and white organised by their aesthetic... Then look no further.
I'm a graphic designer and this book is great for my purposes. All the logos are categorised nicely and the book is really cool to get ideas/see how other ideas have played out.
