Straight forward, easy to read
I'd been picking stocks based on classic internet/knowledge based learning and thought after six months, as a holiday was coming up, to pick up a book up to help offer a little more insight as to where I was going right and where I could improve. After reviewing a few others, choose this one based on the topics covered, format written and the no-nonsense/jargon explanation - technical terms are covered and explained, though simply and 'cuts to the chase'.Read cover to cover on a long distance flight which is a positive way of saying, it held my interest and was giving really useful insight/cues on key topics which was exactly what I was after - I'm now referring to as a guide as part of my stock picking process.I'd recommend for those planning to or relatively new investors who need some assurance on approaches as it helps shape an approach and general rule of thumb guidelines to consider when choosing UK stocks.

Great book
I read this book in 10 days, which is probably a record for me. Covers everything you need in sufficient detail to start trading or improve existing trading strategies. The writing style is informal and very easy to read and Robbie imparts alot of common sense, disciplined strategies as well as how not to trade to prevent you from falling into typical traps traders of all levels sometimes fall into.I'd recommend especially for people like me who always wanted to trade shares but had a million questions and no idea where to start. I'd also recommend the book to anyone wanting to tighten up their stock market fundamentals in an easy to understand way.

Well worth buying.
A trader's book that will also interest those investing for the longer term. I have been trading for 20 years and still found much to interest and learn from. Practical and down to earth. Read before you start trading, it will save you a lot more than the cost of the book, in multiples!

Great book dealing with everything you need to know on the subject
It looks increasingly like most people's pensions are not going to deliver the financial security they were looking for. This book explains how to enter the stock market and start trading direct. Its easy to understand and written with a great sense of humour. It shows how to trade within a stocks and shares ISA to avoid being taxed on your earnings. If you rely on funds to give you good returns you will be disappointed in the long run as most of them use automated trackers these days, whereas if you take direct control you will make much more.

Great book on investing
I have been trading the markets for 10+ years with moderate success. Over time I have learnt a lot of sometimes hard lessons. I wish I had this book 10 years ago as many things I have learnt the hard way. The Naked Trader covers confirmation bias and attitude to trading which was my biggest weakness. The book is written in a way that it is very easy to read and in my view would set someone up quite well to start trading. As an experienced trader I also took a lot away from the book particularly around stock picking and the use of tools like Stockopedia. Recommended reading.
