Much better than Gray Poupon.
It is good Dijon that proves it doesn't need wine or other spices to be good. Just basic and classic flavor. A bit pricey.

My favorite affordable luxury
I'm a mustard person so when I saw this on the top of every single dijon mustard ranking I had to give it a try. Wow, they're not kidding! It's has a good kick - sharp but at the same time wonderfully smooth with no bitterness. I'm finding myself putting this on things I never put mustard on before, and as a mustard person, that's saying a lot. Definitely in a class by itself. Yes it's pricey but worth every penny.

Most like Dijon from France
I used travel to Europe often and when in France & I'd buy a couple of jars of French Dijon to bring home. Dijon mustard in US stores is ok but lacking in that after-bite zing that French dijon has. Due to a rather specular fall putting a full-stop to travel, I've run out of my favorite Dijon, but this comes close enough to leave no complaints. Packaging was well done so perhaps that problem, mentioned by previous reviews, has been corrected.

Bad packaging
This mustard is excellent. You won't go back to grey poupon after tasting this. The problem is twice I ordered it and both times the bottle arrived broken. Wrapping a glass jar in a single layer of crappy bubble wrap and lettingbit bounce around in a big box is a recipe for broken glass.

Delicious!
I bought this because it was recommended in a cookbook. Called French Cooking for Beginners. I may never eat American mustard again. Seriously, SO good!
