TIDEWE Rain Suit, Waterproof Breathable Lightweight 2 Pieces Rainwear

After exhaustive research and reading countless reviews, I purchased this set of rainwear and I'm SO thankful I did!The material is a good weight and durable. All seams are sealed on the inside. The jacket has pockets with an overlapping flap to keep items dry. The zipper is sturdy and did not snag material. The sleeves have an elastic cuff that is 2-3" inside the end to keep rain from traveling inside.I wasn't 100% which size to get (I'm 5'4" and 190#) so I ordered both a large and XL - the large fit, but was still a little big, with plenty of room to layer underneath the jacket and wear hiking pants under the bottoms. The pants were a little long on ME - but I have a short inseam. The hood is on the larger side, fit nicely over a ball cap and can be pulled tighter. I returned the XL with zero problems.I wore this hiking for 3 days with everything from light mist/fog to torrential downpours and it kept me dry and warm. The material sheds water extremely well and held up climbing rocky paths and tight trails with branches rubbing. It also dries quickly.I like that it folds up nicely and fits back into the bag it comes in. It *may* be a little heavy for thru hikers who are carrying everything with them, but it worked great with a base camp and day pack 👍🏻

We purchased these rain suits for a weekend getaway that showed a forecast of rain for our hiking. It didn't end up raining so my husband didn't wear his but he did try it on and it fit well. He is 5'7" 218 and has an XL. I did wear mine because the wind was cold. The material is strong but flexible and lightweight. It was comfortable. I am 5'6" 118 and have a Medium. It is a little baggie but if I had more layers on underneath it would accommodate that. The large pockets on the coat a great! The opening overlaps keeping things dry and my hands were warmer when I put them in the pockets. There are no pockets in the pants but that was ok since the coat had nice pockets. It was nice being able to tighten the ankles to keep the wind out! It worked great at blocking the cold wind from my body! Glad we went with these rainsuits!

Great product, material send water proof and light weight. Order couple sizes bigger than your size. I followed other reviews that i could just size up one but I could never wear this over my existing clothes. Pants are too short they pull up way over the top of my boots. My boots would be full of water. Inseam needs to be much much longer to do the job needed.

You are not going to find a better product for the price. Very durable, including the zipper. Bought this for my Canada fishing trip and it never leaked. It does have a stiffer feel to it - but that is something I would expect at this price point. Would highly recommend.

Just got mine haven't had a chance to try it in the rain. I am 6'2" 180lbs, got the medium in black, it fits great with other clothes on. The material almost feels like Neoprene, its soft and not a plastic feel, no bad smell either, like others I have had in the past. The pants go down to the top of my ankles, I'm a 34 inseam. I also wear a 32 waist. These look great and feel comfortable. I am a dual sport rider so I got these in case I get caught in the rain. Will post again if this happens to say how they work.

The fit by size was accurate for me. I'm a medium and this still has just enough room for me to wear over my clothes. I'm impressed by the quality of workmanship and materials used and it's compactness for storing while traveling. I bought this mainly for a trip to Alaska, but now that I've actually had it awhile I'll also use it on rainy days so I can walk and do my daily 6 mile walk. I think it's a really good buy.

I've been looking to get a rain suit for a while now. Several years ago I got one by Frogg Toggs but it was way too big and I only got around to wearing it once. A little over a week ago I bought this one by Tidewe. So far it has been working out. I've worn it about 4 times in both light and medium to heavy rain and it kept my dry. Another reviewer pointed out how the jacket seems to absorb more water than the pants. I've noticed that as well and it still kept me dry. I was concerned about ordering the correct size. I've seen other reviews claiming the suit runs really big. One person said he's 6 feet tall and the small size fit him perfectly. I'm about 5'6" and my shirt/jacket size is large. I chose a medium and it fits me really well. All 4 times I've worn the suit, I had regular pants on and a thin jacket underneath. Time will tell how well this holds up. The longest I've worn the suit in the rain was for about 30-40 minutes. I don't know if it will keep you dry longer than that. Overall, I'm really satisfied with the suit and glad I bought it.

I do like this foul weather gear. I am 5'8 300lbs so I bought the XXXL and is too big. Plenty of room for layers underneath. Major issue I have is the pants are elastic, but too large for my 54" waist and too long in the inseam. Simple belt loops would have allowed me to add a way to make it tighter. I sewed belt loops in and they stayed up. Product is good and kept me dry in a light rain. Did not keep me warm on an all-day sail. Will wear layers next time. Thicker than a wind breaker, but no insolation. Stopped the wind. It was a 55 degree day with 18 knot wind. Not sure of wind chill.

The overall quality of this rain suit exceeded my expectations. It is not a light weight summer rain suit. I would call it a Fall/Spring weight. Quality of the manufacturing is superb and everything is seam sealed and the sleeves are one piece with no shoulder stitching in the usual places. I got an XL as usual and the pants waist size was tight/smaller than I expected (I wear a 36" pant). The legs were roomy and I could get them over pants no problem. I would say it fit more like a large size in the waist.The jacket fit big (I would say XXL) but since I got this for fall/winter/spring it gives me ample room for other layers. It has a big hood that would probably take a ski or climbing helmet. There are great storm cuffs to prevent any wet or cold from getting in. Since it fits big, it should give me lots of air circulation to prevent moisture build up. I would have like to see Velcro storm cuffs vs. elastic as the bottom of the sleeves are pretty big. Pit zips are also a welcome improvement too. It comes in a heavy duty storage sack that would double as a pretty good dry bag.With all that said, it is quality and probably worth more that twice it's listed price. I would recommend it but please be aware of the fit.

Great material when I first received it, until I put it to the test. Ride my Motorcycle in the rain with it, everywhere seems be covered except my zip area, end up like my chest was leaking from the inside. Quite disappointed :(

Quality looks good. Jacket fits good. Pants, however if you close to the top of sizing chart, order one size larger. I ordered with pant size at the top of listed sizing, but when I tried them on, they were on the tight size overtop of wearing pants. So I returned and ordered one size larger and they fit perfect over pants.
