For the price when I bought it, it is acceptable. The microphone is decent quality, much better than what most microphones I hear sound like. It is compatible with both PC and PS3. The USB cable is thick, the microphone is detachable and replaceable, and there are convenient volume controls for game audio and mic passthrough. The mic passthrough volume adjustment is not as sensitive as I would like it to be, and due to PS3's ridiculous design of only allowing mic audio through USB and not game audio, game audio on PS3 cannot be heard without an adapter for headphone jack to AV audio, which then plugs into an AV audio to AV multi adapter which plugs into the PS3. On a PC, the headphone jack can be plugged in normally. However, I would not recommend the headset for its speaker quality. There is a lot of interference, various pops, crackling, and static through the speakers, and they do leak a little sound. As cheap as Bluetooth headsets are now, I would recommend those instead, if your intention really is to talk. I suppose that stereo headphones would allow you to hear looming enemies, but look for something else, and especially don't buy that ripoff $100 listing.
