Seven Year Pen - Note To Self

I’d like to know if anyone has ever purchased one of these pens and was able to NOT lose it to be able today that it does, in fact, last seven years. I’ve tried three times so far and haven’t made it a year.I give up.It’s a great idea, and makes a great gift, but honestly, I can’t tell you if the pen will last you seven MONTHS, let alone seven years.

I was so hopeful for this pen, just to be disappointed. It's a cheap plastic barrel but I could live with that. It's advertised as a "seven year pen" but ... I couldn't stand to use this for seven years - the ink does not flow smoothly and frequently skips, each time used, the first few letters are very light and even when primed the ink color is far too light. I really tried to like this pen, but ended up just loaning it out hoping it never made it back to my desk.

I mostly really like this pen. It always takes it a second to get going, though. The first stroke is always streaky, but after a sentence or so it smooths out. I’ve had it for several months now and it’s going strong. The ink doesn’t smear and weirdly it smells really good. The design is cute, too.

I like the design and the concept that I can use this pen for a long time. I still have to wait and see how long it would last though without any mechanical problems. :)

After 4 months of use my 7 year pen stopped writing. I give it one star for the sustainability idea but it deserves 0 stars for execution. How do I get my money back?

Bought these with different graphics to give to my Mah Jong group as gifts since I prefer to give something useful. I bought one for myself as well. So far so good!

this is a Christmas present for my brother who is a certified public accountant these will be put to good use during the up coming tax season that is on it's way very soon !!! eileen kimmey

Great pen. Smooth and writes well. Lasting a while so far.
