***UPDATE 9 MONTHS LATER****The charger cable on the side where you plug it into the wall has comepletely broken in half and will not charge my laptop at all, I’ve taped it and held it and it still wouldnt work... This charger has lasted a long time without any issues and then it just broke :( I was never rough on it, it literally just sat behind my desk while my laptop would charge or when I would take my laptop somewhere else it wouldn’t be roughly “tossed” around.**ORGINAL REVIEW**It works great! I absolutely love it, it charges my laptop just like my original one that my dog messed up.

This item was actually for my husband, and so far so good. He misplaced his original cord and needed a replacement ASAP for his work laptop. This charger looks just like the one that came with the product and works perfectly. It quickly and efficiently charges the laptop, I haven't heard any complaints from my hubby, just how great it's been working out for the past couple of days. Thanks for a great product.

Not an OEM Factory Original Product As Advertised
I specifically wanted an OEM charger which is how this item was listed. This appears to be an intentional act of blatant misrepresentation where the seller betted on selling it to a buyer who wouldn't know better. This item is a generic replacemento which sells for less than $15. There is no ASUS stamp which is found on all original ASUS chargers. Don't get duped like I did! Of course it's going back!

NOT OEM, INSUFFICIENT POWER, WON'T CHARGE WHILE LAPTOP IS ON.
Bought this as a second power cord to keep at home (original power cord at the office). Worked fine for a while. I enjoyed the especially long AC cord to the charger. However, a couple of months ago it will no longer charge my laptop while it's on. It will charge it when it's off. And it's not the battery either, because the original ASUS power cord still charges the laptop just fine. I have a feeling it's underpowered, which would explain why when using the laptop my system tray will indicate "Plugged in, not charging" but it will charge the battery once the laptop is off. But that makes it not very helpful to me.
