I have been using these pens for many years, they are awesome!! Love the black ink! I am retired from the medical field and these pens write so smooth when I was writing the notes regarding my patients, but also being a certified book keeper, they are perfect for doing all of my paperwork for my husbands business. I always make sure I have plenty on hand so I won't ever run out. They dry immediately, very durable, great value and awesome functionality, and they are light weight and very comfortable to use.

The fine tip pens do not smudge (ink spread over the page) & it write smoothly & is great for writing on very thin pages as it does not show on the other side.

If you're thinking of buying this pen, buy it. It's a great pen for everyday use, and if that's all you care about, this is among the best. If you want to know why it's still four stars instead of five, read on.I purchased these pens as they are considered a direct competitor in terms of quality to the famed Uni-Ball Jetstream.First off, I believe this pen is a lot more ergonomic than the Jetstream. The grip is fantastically textured and noticeable without being too soft. It provides a bit more comfort than the Jetstream's grip while still retaining a nice rigidity. The pen is feels like it is a bit lighter than the Jetstream, or it has better balance. I'm not sure, I didn't measure these on a little scale, but combined with the ergonomics this makes for a great pen that can be used to write with comfortably for hours. I also like the look of the pen, distinctive, colorful, yet tasteful. The clicking mechanism is also very satisfying, it feels authoritative and sharp.But why is this only 4 stars? Because the soul of a pen is ultimately the refill, and the Pilot Advanced Ink refill, while great, is not as good as the Jetstream's. There is a tiny bit of scratchiness. Uni's ink produces a darker line. The Acroball also has a very rare blotting issue, but it is there. The Jetstream blots too, it's inevitable with a ballpoint, but it's once in a blue moon. Other than that, the Acroball has a great refill. Smooth, reliable, long lasting.. For most purposes, like if you're a student and this is your note-taking pen, you won't notice.

I love these pens so much. I've been using them for over 10 years and are the only ones I've completely used up. And these pens LAST.The ink is incredibly smooth; it's definitely a hybrid leaning more towards ball point ink, BUT it's smoother than a gel pen and never skips ink. The tip is also incredibly fine and the line thickness doesn't vary! The ink is definitely darker than ball point but not gel.Also, if you can ever find them in the COLORED INK, buy them. They're amazing.

What can I say? I love this pen. By far the best I’ve had. First I need to disclose that I’m a lefty. I compared this Acroball to a few of my other most commonly used pens.My favorite Cross Rollerball has a tendency to smear and every once in a while it skips. I’ve found that to be the case with most Cross pens. Don’t know why I have 5 of them. Compared to the Cross ballpoint there’s no competition. The ballpoint is dull and sometimes you have to press hard for it to come out evenly. The Pilot Frixion is great because it’s erasable and it’s pretty smooth, but it too has a tendency to smear.This pen is different. It’s so smooth and the ink is nice and dark. It glides over the paper and doesn’t skip or bleed or smudge. I love this pen. It is my new favorite. As a lefty, I totally recommend this pen.
