Nerdi Universal Worldwide Charger

Bought this for our trip to Iceland. Once we arrived to our hotel we found that this square shaped adapter was not able to fit into the round sockets that they had. Thankfully we had brought a smaller adapter for our road trip and that fit into the round socket and we were then able to plug this into that adapter and use it to power our devices. The prongs were too short to fit into the round adapter so it would have been useless if we didn't have the extra smaller converter.

I purchased this device for my Europe trip months in advance, I am in Europe as I write this review, and the device blew up with sparks/fire and now nothing of ours can be charged, the device/converter burnt, we have no power in the hotel room, hotel refuses to give us a new room. We are without phones, vapor sticks, computer, the works relying on the hotel for a wake up call. On top of everything else I tried to request a refund and they said my return window expired in April. Again, I bought this in advance for our trip and it has now left us internationally with everything dead on battery. Not happy at allllllllllll!!!

I bought this for my trip to New Zealand and the Cook Islands to charge my USB devices, laptop, video lights etc. I like that you having the ability to plug in 4 AC plugs and 5 USB plugs for charging from one wall outlet to keep it all in one place. I also like that it provides surge protection for 110V-2230V. Haven't tried it on 220V/60Hz yet but it works fin on 10V/50Hz. A word of caution for prospective buyers that think this will convert from 220V to 100V or vice versa. It does not! Only plug in devices that convert 220/110V on their own!

After a bit of searching, I purchased this power strip to take with me on a week-long trip to Ireland. It was a bit big for the purpose, I admit... but it was great having the ability to charge multiple items. In one instance I had my laptop, DSLR Camera, and Cell Phone all plugged in and charging. Plus, my sister who was traveling with me used it to charge both her iPod and a small portable charging cell. The combination of standard sockets and USB ports was a great benefit. You can see it in action in one of our Ireland "Hotels" (it was run by a family, so it felt much more like a cozy B&B).The build quality is solid, particularly for the price compared with others that I was considering. I only had to use one of the adapters, (only being in Ireland) but it was simple and straightforward. I'm happy that I can now still use it in the US just like any other power strip! It never tripped, but having the internal breaker and surge protection is a neat feature that I'm happy to have.Very straightforward buying process with Enoch Designs--I would definitely look at purchasing hardware from them in the future. 5 stars!

I am VERY dissatisfied with this product. I was planning on using it for my trip in June but now I have to buy a new one. I bought mine in March but didn't use it till May. The first time I used it, it blew! Didn't charge ANYTHING! I tried all the troubleshooting recommended but nothing worked. Now I can't even return it coz the deadline passed. There went $28 down the toilet!

Even though I bought this power strip for travel, I now use it daily in my home to charge my phone and operate a flood light. I brought it on several trips abroad (Europe and Asia). On travels, I usually need to charge camera batteries, phones, laptops and backup batteries. The power strip has been working as expected - I would definitely recommend this.

I loooove this surge protector. I have had it for months now and its one of the best investments i ever made. I took it with me to Australia, Holland and the UK and I must tell you it's great not needing more than just ONE foreign adapter. All my existing electronic devices are plugged directly into the surge protector and I use one international adapter for wall unit and im done. GREAT product.

Worrks great as advertised. It's perfect if you travel or move overseas and bring electronics with you. It doesn't have a transformer, so all devices need to be able to handle the local power. Appropriate devices will typically have "100-240v, 50/60hz" printed on the power supply.
