These pickups sound great and once I got the proper super switch to replace the special Ibanez one that came on my rga742 wiring was easiest part. Hardest part was the cavity for these was not big enough to insert into guitar with no modifications. Had to widen the cavity and make it taller. Also had to deepen the cavity by about 3/8”. Once installed though sounds amazing. Worth the work for sure

These sound amazing. From glassy single coil neck blues to judas priest all the way to wage war and everything in between. Seriously versatile pickups, they just don't come with the ability to play like abasi.Mine are wired on a jackson warrior with 1 push pull volume and a push pull tone. Volume does the voice 1/2 and the tone pot does the voice 3 (coil tap) and I use a 3 way les paul style switch. Go ahead and buy them, you won't be sorry.

They sure do. Sound thicc. Compared to the EMG 81 in my 6 string they sound massive. Looking to get your girl moister than an oyster? Cop these.Mine might be defective as I'm still not as good as Abasi.

Best Pickups you'll ever buy. IT literally does everything. Like warmth & deepness? Use Voice 1. Like Growl & Aggression? Use Voice 2. Like Single coil spank? Use the Single coil voice. The Tone knob comes in more handy here to come back to a warmer, tamer sound. High output pickups that are crystal clear with maximum headroom? Crazy. Not to mention the fact that it comes with ALL OF THE POTS, WIRES, JACKS & CAPACITORS YOU NEED PLUS A Color Coded WIRING DIAGRAM. It makes practically no noise too. It's like buying 3 set of pickups in one. MUST try.

Kind of self explanatory, however I didn't certain pickups are not universal with eachother. These soapbar style pickups will only drop into other soapbar style humbucker spots. So for my Ibanez I'll need to go with open-core/covered humbucker styles. This might help someone else in the future from making the same mistake.

I had a guitar ago install these in my Strindberg Boden 8 and it’s completely changed the guitar for the better! The tone is amazing and the 5 way selector is much nicer than the standard 3 way.

I have them and love the tone you get out of them. It really gives you the best of an active pickup (note clarity) without the downsides of sterile tone. It has the best qualities of the passive as well, without all the noise buzz. It has great warm clean the tones and vicious bite on distortion. The amount of versatility you get is also a major plus. I went from 3 possible positions to 9 after installation.If you happen to be installing it into an Ibanez RG8, be careful about how you set it up. I know when I got the installation done there were a couple issues with the battery capacity space. (It’ll fit you just gotta be smart about.

Firstly the negatives...I installed these pick ups myself after doing much research online.... although...the kit says it contains everything you need..that's not true...it doesn't contain a position selector switch...or.. solding wire to ground anything ....I was lucky..I bought a soldering kit the same time as the pick ups....also depending on what guitar you have the instructions aren't clear...With those negatives aside..these are still 5 star pick ups...the sound quality is brilliant...I put them on a custom Gibson Les Paul which isn't a cheap guitar..and the difference in quality is huge..the highs are great the lows are great the cleans are crystal clear...in negatives fishman could do better in those areas..but when it comes to what matters ..the sound...it's top quality....they also look good with my guitar..
