The Hamilton Dune watches use the Ventura style shape, I got this for my son since he likes the Dune watches but the prices are high on them. I thought this would be an all plastic/resin watch, but it is metal and has a real nice band- you can change the color of the backlight, we chose blue- my son loves the watch and wears it a lot. Not a bad solid watch with an affordable price. I am thinking of getting one for myself.

So, for anyone reading reviews. People complaining about the display being too dark. Once you get into low light you will pretty much be able to see the time. Better with more light. But the only time you really can't see it is in the dark. The back light could stay on longer and there is no way to set it so that one of my big complaints.As far as people saying this is a kids watch as far as how it feels. That's not even remotely accurate. The only quality that makes this a kids watch is how it looks. It's a sturdy watch, holds up well to water when washing hands (which I do many times a day working in a hospital). The material feels strong and not cheap. And it is a decent size watch.The only reason I really didn't give this watch five stars was due to the instructions. I need the time face to read military time. Which is why I bought this. The instructions don't really read well. I had to look on YouTube before they made sense. Once I did that they made sense..... The media could not be loaded. I love the watch it looks just like the picture and it has LED lights so it shows different colors, and it's digital of course the numbers are real large so you can really see them I give it five stars I love it. It actually comes with directions it says you exactly how to set your clock and the date the month alarm and everything.

So I bought this watch expecting it to be a very well lit digital watch like some green ones and in the pictures it makes it even look that way. The watch is always lit up. Unfortunately as many of the other reviews have said, it doesn't even stay on after like 2 or 3 seconds. There's no way to keep it on. It looks cool, but it's not the greatest watch.

Pros, nice look, not too small, button functions are pretty basic, fits large wrists, bright light, easy to change the color of the face.Cons, why is the time in the upper corner as well as on the face? The month and day should be in upper corner don't ya think? Hard to see indoors during the day. Very quiet, if your gonna use the alarm you'll probably sleep right threw it. The buttons feel like they will stop working first. There is no pertection around the watch anywhere so it will get scratched easily.I have a everyday watch that I don't mind getting beat up so I'm gonna wear this on days I don't work ect. It is a very good looking watch and I don't want it getting scratched up. With all of that said, I like it for a secondary watch for going out ect and I'm glad I have it to wear. I was looking for something different that you don't see everyday on someone's wrist and this is a stand out alone kinda watch.

Love the cool colors. Way different then a smart watch, it gets attention. Futuristic. Been me up Scottie. Very solid and heavy. Impressed. A good buy. Fun.

PROS:- Easy to learn the settings and functions of the buttons thanks to the instructions sheet included- Tells not just the time, but the date and day of the week- Feels great, and of good quality for its price- Offers many cool light color options to choose from, and does a great job of displaying the screen in low lit environments- The screen is easy to read in daylight without the use of the LED glow- Simply looks like a cool piece of tech on anyoneCONS:- Screen always has the time/date displayed twice at all times, feeling like unnecessary clutterIt's a great watch for a low price! I've only had it for some days now, so I can't say much for its lifespan.
