A helpful little meter
The instructions were a bit difficult to follow. The most important thing to note is that in order to change the settings, you must depress and hold the button in the back before connecting the terminals to electricity. Only then can you make setting changes, using both the setting button in the back as well as the button in the front.

Voltage is accurate, % is not for a golf cart
The voltage is pretty spot on. I’m using it for a 36v golf cart with 6 6v batteries. This is rated for 12v batteries so I said I have 3 batteries equaling 36v. The problem is the percentage is not accurate. It says it’s 80% when it’s actually 90% at the current voltage.Programming is easier than people say, just follow the instructions. When it says to remove from power to save, I unplugged it from the back of the meter.

Not accurate, find a better option
Nice looking meter. Easy to set up, once you read the directions.Unfortunately it's not very accurate, at least not the charge indicator meter. The voltage gauge seems to work well, but the charge indicator is all over the place.Read 90% on a brand new fully charged battery, then after 5 mins of running the trolling motor, it Read zero. It's a shame, I wanted to like it, but I need a meter that works.

Works great
Installation was easy and it works as advertised. I think what confuses people when setting it up is it is for 12V lead acid batteries. If you have a 48V system then you need to set it up showing you have 4 batteries (12 x 4 = 48) If you set it up showing 6 batteries because that is what you have, it will never read a full charge.

Couldn't be any easier.
I put my trolling motor battery in an old toolbox to have storage for my handheld depth finder sonar and fuses, tools etc.. This meter is exactly what I needed to help monitor how much further I can travel in my inflatable skiff. When your on a big lake the last thing you want is to get stranded or have to paddle a mile in rough water. No more worries, I can monitor how far I have gone and how much capacity was used and make sure I leave capacity to get back.

Could not get any product support
I connected directly to the batteries to setup the unit. But it would not go into setup mode. And as such I couldn’t specify the number of batteries or set it to turn off after 10 seconds. I guess I’ll just have to return it and try another brand

Great product for the price.
Just like all gauges, it’s not necessarily 100% accurate but once you use it enough you’ll be able to “know” your gauge. Readings are only good when not under a load (foot off the “gas” pedal to check remaining charge). I’m very happy with the product (and the vendor - quick shipper and great price).

I like it
Using this battery meter on my small inflatable boat with electric trolling motor. Great to know how much battery is left, to make sure I can get home when out on the lake.
