Love this product because now I can use my Nespresso Vertuo machine without spending so much $$$ on single-use coffee pods! The Nespresso machine reads these reusable Capmesso cups with absolutely no problem. You just have to take a moment to put your own ground espresso into the cup and line up/seal the foil tops properly. Then insert into the machine as usual.

Update: I contacted CAPMESSO about me experience with the quality. They replied and sent me replacements. The replacement product worked better but not perfect. Perhaps the original product was a bad batch.I've purchased these 57mm aluminum foils refills for my Nespresso over the years and they've worked great. HOWEVER, in my recent purchase the quality has dropped significantly. The aluminum foil is much thinner than previous batch of product. The Nespresso center hole punch tears the thin foil too easily and makes a square cut that leaks. See pic. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE PRODUCT QUALITY! The label says made in China and might be from a different factory from past manufacturer.Capmesso needs to step up their QA on these refills!!!

This is such a great product to be able to brew coffee with the Nespresso for a change of pace and to save some money. It won't replace the great Nespresso pods but can extend your dollar.

I initially got quite poor results from this reusable stainless steel pod, but after a fair amount of playing around, I can now get fairly consistently good results. Here's how I managed to get this to work satisfactorily:I'm using a Hario hand burr grinder. I'm not using a scale to measure out coffee, instead using the scoop provided with the pod to measure out beans. I believe some reviewers received pods with a fill line, but my pod doesn't have this. I had to play around to get a grind fineness that worked for me.A number of reviews indicate tamping down the grounds in the pod. I found that this produced poor results, often with very little water flowing out of the pod. I was actually impressed that the Nespresso machine seemed to sense nothing was coming out and didn't pump water in until it sprayed all over the place. I pour in the grounds, make sure the rim is clean, then adhere the foil carefully all around. Then, I shake the pod to ensure that the grounds are not packed. You'll note that the grounds are loose in Nespresso capsules. This was the only way I could get a reasonable amount of water flow.My hypothesis about water flow is that this pod has vertical sides (slightly sloped), rather than being dome-shaped like Nespresso vertuo capsules. I think that this means that injected water isn't spun effectively out of the pod. Even with all of my fiddling around, the amount of coffee produced is significantly less than one would expect from how the pod is rated and there is a lot more liquid left in the pod than in equivalent Nespresso capsules.But it does work, and the reusability of this pod is a definite environmental improvement (and an eventual savings in money). Cleanup is not particularly difficult.
