If mixed with other types of memories it likes to sit in slots 1 and 3 and won’t be recognised from slots 2 and 4 - currently tested for 6 months with no other issues and works well with Lightroom 6 and making smoother movies.

After some struggle to open the plastic package (nearly as bad as trying to open cheese), these memory sticks were easily installed in my new system build, an MSI FM2-A85XMA. Worked straight away, passing full memory diagnostics without problem. XMP mode has to be enabled in BIOS to obtain the full 1600MHz speed.

Crucial memory is always my first choice for speed and reliability

Have bought two lots of these, a total of 16gb. No problems installing, seem stable and very capable. Would recommend.

I ordered this originally from Amazon, however as I found it somewhere else cheaper, I cancelled it here and went through the other company.I have been using these sticks for almost 2 months on an Asus Rampage II GENE Motherboard and it's working great. I haven't had any BSOD to date.I normally have around 50+ Web browser tabs, 2 instances of VLC (with lots of videos in the playlist), and a whole load of other programs running in the background. On Windows 7 64-bit at the moment, but looking into getting Windows 10.

I bought these to replace the 4GB of Crucial Ballistix Sport that I had previously which had served me well for nearly 4 years. However I noticed that my RAM usage was really high with only a few tabs open causing my whole PC to slow right down. So I decided it was time for an upgrade and these have been an excellent replacement. Since installing them my RAM usage (with Windows 10 64-bit) barely hits the 6GB mark. They have also really helped made my PC feel even faster and responsive

works fine using xmp profile 8-8-8-24 at 1600 on asus and gigabyte boards without needing to overclock. Benchmarks often rate it better than apparently faster memory, possibly because of its lower latency.Correction: the above comment applied to the 1600 version, but I would say the same for the 1866 memory at its spec. I would note that my Gigabyte GAZ68AP didn't seem to like running with 16GB of memory but was fine with 4,8, or 12 of the same memory.

Forget about the flashy memory kits with the overgrown heat-sinks and boy-racer styling.The sensibly sized heatsinks on this ram might not be the biggest in the world, but they're more than up to the job - this is the most stable, reliable ram I've ever had.Even though this isn't the low-profile version of this kit its still smaller than a lot of the kits on the market - just about small enough not to conflict with a 3rd-party CPU cooler, even though all 4 ram slots are used.
