I've been jonesing for this desk for quite some time, and I've *very* happy to finally have it. It's very stable and solid, it was a breeze to assemble, and it has a lot of surface area and storage: I'm currently running a 15" MacBook Pro, a 27" WQHD monitor on an arm, and a ThinkPad W530 in clamshell mode with a wireless Apple keyboard and trackpad, and I have plenty of room left over for books, notepads, and drinks. As others have noted, it *does* have a textured surface - in keeping with the "driftwood" finish aesthetic - so if you're in the habit of writing on bare sheets of paper, it might not be for you. Also as others have noted, you run the risk of receiving it damaged in shipping, but I contacted Legaré after UPS left the damaged and open box at the front door and drove off, and they helped make it right (UPS was of *no* help in this matter). So, highly recommended.

I really like the desk. It is smaller overall than I was thinking, however the measurements are correct. Its more of a square with a cut out for the chair, than a true L shape. Assembly was super easy and quick, even with the less than perfect directions. Be sure to think about where you want the shelves, as once the desk is assembled, you will have to disassemble it all to rearrange them.As notated in several previous comments the package is horrible. My UPS guy refused to help me carry it in, I think he was afraid it would all fall apart on the way from the truck.

Compressed paper-board construction with a plastic laminate. The plastic faux woodgrain is very rough. Writing on paper directly on the desks surface is extremely annoying. I would have preferred a smooth surface. The included shelves are very shallow.TERRIBLE PACKAGINGThe desktop piece arrived with one of the interlocking tabs snapped off. Luckily for me it didn't affect the desks function so i decided to just deal with it as returning it would have surely been a hellish experience.Charming design with very sub-par materials. I might try to use it as a template to craft a copy out of real plywood down the road.Its unlikely that i'd buy this product again for the price. This is a $100 desk imo.

It's a great looking desk that comes together pretty easily, but be warned the surface of this desk is not for writing or using a mouse on without a mouse pad. The surface has a very rough texture to it. This is different than the amber colored corner desks which have smooth surfaces. I have one of those as well. Fortunately for me this desk is a work bench for my electronics and modeling hobby so I don't need a smooth surface.

Received the table today. Is as described and can be set up by oneself self in less than 10 minutes. Seems very sturdy and love the functionality of being take apart and put together in minutes. I'd give it a 4 or 5 star rating but the table came with lots of chips/pieces look like they've been used before. See pictures below for examples, there are a few more chips. There were chips on about half of the pieces in the box. Love the product, do not like the quality it was sent in.

The desk arrived swiftly and was well packed. It really did assemble in less than 3 minutes, without tools. It seems very sturdy, and its appearance was better than anticipated. It has a shiny finish, molded in perhaps, that should be very easy to maintain. A very large corner workspace.

cant be more happier with this table; took me three different tries to get it but once i did, the setup was a breeze and the product is super sturdy; matches perfectly with my bedroom set and is built really well!
