Bigfoot Beware!
Do not forget that with an insole you are adding to the overall volume you intend to shove in the shoe!New Balance is one of the only shoe makers that make a 16 EEEEEE, bless them forever! They make a great orthotic insole to boot (pardon my pun). The insole takes up some precious real estate in the mid-foot, which is fine for those narrower of foot, but it makes my 6E shoes feel like a 4E. And that can ruin your day. However, for most of us Bigfoot wannabes the NB shoe itself is crafted with the sore foot in mind and orthotics aren’t as necessary as they are in Propet shoes which are ugly, uncomfortable, and overpriced in my opinion.

Pricy; easy to trim to size/shape.
Had to replace insoles in Dunham, New Balance casual/work shoes + tough boots due to fight with athlete's foot fungus. Insoles were pretty old/worn anyway. Was easy to trim to size/shape and pop in, felt normal/comfortable immediately. Seems excessive at ~$45 each pair for a bit of foam. I got 2 to start, since they worked well, ordered 2 more for rest of shoes.

Don't like them
I needed new inserts since my new balance shoes came with cheap inserts that wore out fast. New balance doesn't sell wide replacement inserts and their website advises ordering a size up and trimming them1. The support feels off since they are a size too big2 it still doesn't fit my shoe well3. It's much thicker/taller than the original very flat inserts, so with the new ones, the shoe doesn't really fit anymore4 if it doesn't fit your shoe and you trimm them as recommend you really won't be able to return them. You sort of have to decide if you like them without being able to try themIt's mostly annoying that new balance won't just make a replacement insert that will fit without needing trimming. And I feel like the only reason I need new inserts is new balance provided cheap ones to start with

misleading description
It says in the description that you have to trim these insoles to fit and that is not accurate. The item shipped to me clearly shows "size H". This is the largest size and is meant to fit that size shoe. Looking at the bottom of the insole it is clear that was not meant to be cut.
