Great tool for bread cutting however after like 10 uses blade is dull.

It took a little bit of getting used to for me to score my bread correctly, but I like this lame a lot. The design allows the razor blade to slip back inside the wood holder, making it safer for storage. Swapping razor blades is straight forward. I like that cut-proof finger protectors are included in the package for safer handling when razor blade manipulation is needed. I'm not an expert at sourdough scoring, but I'm pleased with the result of this tool.

Used for first time today on hoggiie buns I made. This worked well on cutting tops of buns! Nice little device. Even come with a protective sleeve for it while it lays in drawer till next time to use.

Super sharp easy to use and it’s super easy to switch out the base to clean. I’ve had it for about a year now and haven’t had any issues with it. I love how it comes with a case and blades too. Highly recommend for bread makers!

Received this today and just assembled it. I like how small and compact it is. I have yet to use it. I bought it based on reviews. I am surprised that no one mentioned that yes, the blade falls into the wood and keeps the blade hidden but when you need to use it, you have to twist it again to loosen and the blade pops out for use.Problem is, the blade pops out where ever it wants to. You have to keep your fingers around the wood and not on the sides. Be very careful.
