Excellent Spinners
These game spinners work great and are easy to use. I used it to make a game for my dog. The spinner points to different commands for my dog like: sit, beg, high five, jump, give us a hug, on my back, etc. It's a fun game and my dog loves it, plus he gets some extra training too. I made my board out of cardboard that came in a calendar, it works great. Also, the spinners are so easy to take apart that you can put different games on both sides of the cardboard and just flip the spinner to the other side when you want to play the other game. The spinners spin super well too. They are a great buy and would work well for making up your own game, or doing some sort of giveaway.

Spinner Works Great if Properly Assembled
These spinners work fine, but they will only work if they are properly assembled. A couple negative comments suggest that a few people are dissatisfied, probably because they aren't properly assembling the arrow spinner to its support base. What you need to do is press the flange at the center of the arrow into the hole in the base. If you press hard enough, you will hear and feel a "snap" when the arrow engages the base. The arrow can then be easily spun, because the base provides a bearing surface to provide smooth rotation. The arrow will be retained against the base and should rotate smoothly for a long time. You can remove the arrow from its base by pulling upward at the center of the arrow until it snaps out of the base. I have done this several times and have had no problem reinserting and snapping the arrow again into the base.In operation, the base can be glued to a flat surface, for example a laminated paper or a CD cartridge, and the arrow can then be spun above the flat surface of the paper or cartridge. Alternatively, you can drill or punch a 3/8 inch hole in laminated paper, push the shaft of the base through the hole, snap in the arrow at the end of the base shaft and then spin the arrow against the paper with the bottom of the base covered by the laminated paper. Sorry, this is harder to explain than it is to do.Three pictures are provided to show the front and back of a fairly complex spinner that uses the engaged arrow and base. The spinner works fine in this application.

amazing replacment
Koplow Games Spinners Board Game ( Set of 8 ), 4" is a great set of replacement board game spinners. When the spinners of our games break or fall out and get lost, we can't play the games anymore. When I found these, we were suddenly able to play so many of our old board games. These spinners look just like the original ones that came with the board games. They stay in fairly well, though they sometimes fall out. They work well. Now we can play a lot of games that sat and collected dust for years because they were simply missing their spinners.I recommend this pack!

Very well made
I got these to make my own spinner game. I tried using Elmer's white glue to glue the spinner base to a piece of paper covered cardboard, but the glue did not stick very well to the plastic material that the spinner is made of, so it kept coming off. I ended up cutting a hole in the cardboard, and pushing the spinner up through it, with some Elmer's white glue. This has held so far. Different choice of glue might work better. The spinner action is very smooth. It whirls around for awhile before it stops, as it has very little friction. Quality seems very durable.
