This is not a UK version, something that really should be made clear. Still, it was simple (if tedious) enough to fit a UK plug. No earth wire - not sure if that's an issue, but I'm not an electrician. Works just the same as the Genius 5 I already have, charges fairly fast and well, and with no fuss. It tops my fairly big battery up in a few hours. It works, and reliably. My car starts strongly every time, even after a long period of lying then given a top up charge. Enough said. Excellent charger, quicker than the Genius 5 (which still did the job, only slower) but annoying that I had to read the small print to realise I'd been mis-sold a US version.

Very pleased with look and finish of Product. If the assories and adaper plug were included to make a superb one stop package, willingness to pay a little extra woud appeal. Overall a Quality product.

Got this on a deal. Usually quite a bit more expensive. Have several batteries that need maintaining and this does the trick. Did a fair bit of reading up on the Noco and the CTEK optimisers. Bang for buck, multiple battery types (gel,lead,etc) and waterproof put this ahead. NB. Noco do 1A, 2A and 5A optimisers as well. Depends on your needs.

This looks and feels quality, and is doing the job- it should I suppose as it is not cheap. My only gripe is there is no UK plug so I had to use an adaptor.

I liked it very much. The only thing I need to buy extra is an EU/US plug to the UK from the local store.

I have been amazed and very pleased with this item. It has several features built in which make it virtually goof-proof. If you hook up your leads wrong, it ceases electric current flow and tells you what you did wrong. It not only charges your vehicle battery, it repairs it, removing unwanted chemical build up inside the battery. It charged my vehicle's battery quickly and easily. By supplying 10 Amps of power to your battery, give this product serious consideration. I love it.

42 years as a mechanic and I have to say I’ve used all kinds of chargers in my life, and the Noco genius is absolutely the top tier of all. set it and forget it. The smart feature of the charger does it all for you. Today’s batteries are quite sensitive to voltage whether it’s a lead acid or an AGM battery too high voltage or too low of voltage output from a charger you don’t realize it, but it will damage the batteries as it charges. AGM‘s are especially sensitive to this. When charging the Noco automatically adjust voltage output and the amperage output as the battery begins to top off preventing damage and allowing the battery to top off fully at its maximum capacity, which is very important on lead acid batteries. This is where cheap to mid range battery chargers don’t work properly. They often continue to flow even when the battery is topped off at quite a high voltage damaging the battery. This charger also incorporates a desolfation mode that can bring most discharge batteries back to life it also incorporates a forced charged mode that will allow it to charge a battery that is down to one volt which most other brands of chargers will not do smart charger or not. These chargers are very well-made. The plastic is not cheap and is very strong. It has good weight to it. The power cable leads our 16 gauge so they are quite thick. The clamps are copper that is plastic covered, but are extremely solid and durable I’ve been using them for years and have never had an issue. The ambient temperature sensors on these chargers are also another strong point as they actually work properly, allowing a battery that’s in a vehicle in cold weather conditions to top off faster and better and then it will keep it there ensuring a strong start to next morning. For those that want the very best charger that will outperform anything else in its category look no further this is the one along with the three-year warranty that backs it up if something should go wrong. I highly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed so spend the extra money and get the best. You’ll have it for 20 + years
