Terrible presentation and stale
I’ve had the large bars before and they came packaged nicely and were not all broken up and stale. These came in a plastic zip lock bag, several pieces were broken up and stale. I’m afraid to open the rest of them and I definitely won’t be adding them to gift bags as I had intended.

Gritty and Sour
They're packaged prettily and tinted red with beet powder, but the texture is completely gritty and the flavor is sour and not chocolate-like or rose flavored. In reviewing the ingredients, I learn that it doesn't actually have any rose flavor in it, only rose hips (thus the sour taste) and no cacao powder (the flavorful part), only cacao butter. They also have rice protein powder... These don't tase bad, per se, but they are NOT chocolate and they are NOT rose-flavored, both of which one would expect in a something labeled "dark chocolate rose bites." Strange marketing choice.

Unreliable service
I love those chocolate bites and I have been buying them regularly for a while nowThe last bunch however, did not arrive in its box, but in a zip bag. I could have agreed to that if it had not been, that the bites were stale.It is the first time this has happen but it is not a good sign, especially when it comes from the mother company and not a retailer.So: the product is delicious if it is fresh but unfortunately service is unreliable :(

They came in plain silver wrappers and no decorative box
I was going to gift these in valentine's boxes I'm making but the wrapper is sooo plain Jane and does not eve say what they are. Picture on ad misleading. I can't gift these ugly things and they taste terrible on top of everything. Waste of money.

Sandy and gritty
Not sure what I was expecting. But I know I wasn't looking for a chocolate square that tasted bland and gave the impression that sand was one of the ingredients. It was so gritty I was worried about chipping a tooth. Maybe it's on purpose, I have no idea.

One of my favorite raw chocolates out there
I love everything about this chocolate. Most of the bad reviews are left by people who should probably stick to Hershey bars. But if you’ve got a seasoned palate and you want delicious, healthy chocolate I would recommend this company. I do hope they use biodegradable packaging in the near future!
