They are strong, the length is perfect for my application and they are metal

I’m using this for a crazy purpose- to create an underground barrier under my fence to prevent armadillos from getting in our yard. They don’t dig too deep so this has proven to be a decent way to make up for the gap created between our fence and the ground over years of soil erosion. So far so good- I see they’ve tried getting in a few times from digging attempts, hopefully they’ll give up on our yard and move somewhere else.UPDATE!—— by golly this is the best thing I’ve thought of in a long time 😆. Even our landscaping company was bowled over by the simplicity of my solution to stop critters from coming into our yard. The spikes have so far survived through flooding, snow and scorching temperatures and they haven’t changed in appearance or sturdiness. They haven’t rusted so our soil is safe and unaffected in that regard. No need to spend thousands on getting a barrier along your fence when you can just place these stakes in the ground to prevent digging critters.

Great price, quality made

These are all well made and insert in ground very easy. I had no problems using these with a hammer in hard soil. Been in the ground for a few weeks and I do not see any rust on the heads yet. Wish they were a bit less costly, but not one bent or broke, so the yield is as expected. If you have some small rocks or clay these will work.

Works better than plastic nails. Bought multiple times to secure my edging.

Good material, landscape timber for raised bed

After breaking the first plastic stake that came with the no-dig edging, I ordered these. The stake is the same length but a little narrow, which I actually like. They go into the ground easily and the texture works well for keeping them from popping up. I ordered more because I'm going to use these for all my no-dig landscape edging.

Not sure what I make of these. They are basically 8" nails you hammer into the soil in an attempt to stop your flagstones moving. If they are successful they are much easier than digging out and fitting pin kerbs. Time will tell.
