Great customer service
Updated review:First I would like to say that this company is striving to make things right with their product. After my first review they contacted me and sent a new transmitter. After several months of use what I find is that I may have to seek a different station when traveling due to the way radio broadcasts are sent through different areas and states. I have found a station on which I have been able to stream Pandora with little static. I have found however for the volume to work well in my Tacoma my phone volume must be all the way up and my radio volume fairly high…..my phone (a Samsung) usually give me a warning that the volume may be harmful…lol … it however does not transmit as loud as the phone settings fear. This feature has been very nice on long trips and the holder is wonderful. I have been able to also transmit my GPS across the radio but this volume appears a bit more low even when the phone is on max. I did not bump up to 5 stars because my hands free calling is still an issue and even when my phone is set to hands free I cannot initiate calls across the systems as I do in my blue tooth car. Once initiated however I have had fairly good transmission across the system with the limitation of low volume.My other concern is also the longevity of the transmitter as I have to play with my power cord and get in an exact location to charge when driving on long trips. I have also found that there is no way to know when the device is fully charged as the red light does not change color no matter how long I charge it.I must say however for vehicles not equipped with bluetooth this is a nice little device. If I could do 4+ as a star rating I wouldFirst review:I am unfortunately getting much static and have not yet found a station that reduces this…. I am still trying. Also when attempting to charge the unit the red light never goes out signaling a full charge not even after 10 hours plugged in. The packaging states that a full charge should be present by 4 hours. I have a Samsung galaxy 3 and purchased this for my Tacoma which does not have bluetooth. It is so far a good holder for the window so I have not returned it…. if the suction fails then it will be useless… too soon to review that capacity at present. This however is expensive just to be a holder so I hope a find a better transmitting station.

The clearest sound I've ever gotten from an FM transmitter.
I have had this product for about 3 weeks, and am very pleased with its performance! Having an older vehicle with no aux input and a poor tolerance for the local radio stations has meant that I've been through a variety of FM transmitters in the last few years... this product blows all of them out of the water! I live near a major metropolitan area, so there aren't a lot of "open" channels to use, and I was very skeptical about this unit since it doesn't extend down below 88.0, where I've had the best luck with other units. However, transmitting using channels below 88.0 hasn't been necessary, because the scanning feature on this unit found a station very quickly that has almost no static. I haven't had this reception this clear since I had satellite radio!Another bonus with this unit - I no longer lose my audio when driving past the airport (the interference was so substantial with other units that I would have to turn them off when I got within 5 miles of the airport), and I don't lose my audio completely when I go over a bridge. I haven't had to change the station when driving beyond my regular driving radius, but I've not been beyond 90 minutes from home so I can't say that I've really tested these limits. However, it's far enough that I would have had to find a new station on the units I've had previously. The great thing about this product is that if I couldn't find a clear station, I could just switch it to its internal speakers! They are a bit "tinny" sounding, but considering their size, they do a pretty good job.I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm not sure how well the suction cup will hold it in place over time. I had some difficulty getting it secured initially, but no problems since. Even if it does come loose, it's still the best FM transmitter I've ever owned, and I would HIGHLY recommend it if you are tired of static!

This product has been a long time coming!
This product is EXACTLY what I have been looking for for a long time. For those of us with older cars and no aux input or usb input, we have to make do with fm transmitters and/or tape player converters (the horror!!). I've tried both, and they all stink, until this beauty came along. It serves multiple purposes, which is awesome. The FM transmitter actually WORKS, I can mount my phone for GPS navigation, and I can mount my phone and put it on speaker and talk without having to hold it. So if you're looking for any or all of these, get this without hesitation. Great price too btw.
