Best George Forenan Grill yet!
We’ve have had 3 GF grills over the years, all have been very good. But this one is the best by far. It performs excellently on all types of meat, burgers etc. it is really smokeless which surprised me.Above all, it’s so easy to clean and the drip tray is the best by far.

Easy to clean/Smokeless
We have used George foreman grills for some time, but found surprisingly that the grill plates cannot be removed for cleaning. We purchased this new grill as it has this feature. The advertised less smoke, steam really makes a difference and actually really worksWe have found that the lwr grill plate does not get as hot as the upper plate, however not a huge issue as we just turn the food over for few minutes. This grill is an addition to our original George Foreman which we feel cooks steaks much better leaving them nice and juicy and evenly cooked, however we also like the functions of the new grill especially the gril plate removal and drip tray removal for dishwasher cleaning etc.

Great for toasties
I mainly bought this brevil for toastes and it makes them great! Much better than a toastie maker and can fit much more food inside! Very easy to clean as well as all the plates are removable.

Smokeless and quick.
It takes some time to heat up but I put the steak on long before that and it still cooked it in 2 minutes. I live in a flat with an open plan living/ kitchen so smoke and smells can be a problem. My dedicated air filter machine did not even start up. Brilliant. A tip for those who like their steaks still pink in the middle; just use the bottom half and don’t close the top. A little more smoke but not a lot.

Brilliant grill that saves energy and time
This Geoarge Foreman electric grill is a worthwhile purchase. Have been using it for quiet a few meals so far cooking steak, bacon, sausages etc.. Sausages cook in about 8 minutes. Easy to clean. Uses 1.5 Kw at max to do its tasks. I is energy efficient and cook time for most things is far reduced over a fan assist oven, Highly recommended epecially as energy costs for Gas and Electric in the UK are going to run riot.

Not as hot as previous GF grill - impossible to sear steak
I tried very hard to like this grill as the removable plates and drip tray were so much more convenient than the previous fixed plate grills I've owned. This is the 5th GF grill I've had over the years and normally they are very effective, but the first thing I noticed was how long the new grill took to reach temperature - over 4 minutes before it was ready to use! We like very rare steak and generally put them on for 1 minute to sear and brown the outside while leaving the centre raw, but on this grill after 1 minute steak looks grey and soggy with no hint of browning. My old grill is 12 years old and not performing as well as it did originally, but today I did a comparison test between new and old grills, halving a normal piece of sirloin steak, a small piece of rump which had been left to dry for a couple of days (to see if that reduced sogginess), and thin slices of chicken breast. The results are striking - the new grill with removable plates took 3 minutes to brown the steak, leaving it leathery and overcooked for my purposes, and a massive 5 minutes to even slightly brown the thin slice of chicken, while the old grill managed to brown the steak in 1 minute 20 seconds and do the chicken in 2.5 minutes. Photos 1 and 2 show results after 1 minute 30 seconds on new and old grills. Photo 3 shows final results of new grill on left (steak 3 mins, chicken 5 mins) and old grill on right (steak 1 min 30, chicken 2 mins 30). I'm still looking for a new grill as anything over 1 minute leaves steak overcooked from my perspective, but it is blatantly evident that the new grill isn't performing as it should so reluctantly I'm returning it despite the convenience of being able to wash the components. It's really disappointing that GF is selling a product that takes over 4 minutes to heat up and still produces such inferior results.
