Poor performance with multi gigabit 2.5/5.0GbE
I purchased one of these QSFPTEK 10GBASE-T SFP+ to use with a Mikrotik CRS309 10GbE switch so I could connect a 2.5 or 5.0 GbE Ethernet adapter to it. Unfortunately I just didn't get consistent and reliable speeds from this SFP+ module or the network adapters connected to it. I tried 3 different Ethernet adapters with 2 very high end PCs and got terrible speeds with all of them. I guess there could be a compatibility issue with this SFP and Mikrotik switch but I have several 10GbE and 1GbE Fiber modules working perfectly at full speed.Multi-gigabit Ethernet seems a bit picky with what will and will not work. Perhaps this module works perfectly with 10GbE Ethernet but unfortunately I was unable to test that scenario.

Satisfactory - runs a tad hot though.
Used in a MikroTik CRS316 10GbE switch. Works well, runs a bit hotter than my FS equivalent parts (this at 52C, FS part at 39C with 24C ambient), thus the one star off. Packed well enough, got here in one piece.Be warned - if you’re planning to use this in an Intel X520 or 530, mine are rather picky. I have a X520 installed in a Synology Diskstation and it didn’t like this transceiver at all, whereas it takes Arista coded modules from FS just fine.

Best value 10g Sfp+
Could not get the full 10G speed when I connected this to the ubiquiti dream machine pro and a 10g HP LAN. I expect it was issues on the Dream machine but I ended up returning this in the end. It was the best value connector I could find at the time.

Works well with Unifi 48 port (Non POE)
Having picked up the OWC Thunderbolt 3 10GBe adapter I was keen to try this out and ordered one of these, both units are plug and play. This works well with the Unifi and gave 10 GBe speeds. Highly recommended

Great product. Works with Cisco and Intel at 10Gbps.
It works really well and I am getting reliable 10Gbps speed. I have use this for my FANMI X520-DA1 (Intel chip) 10GBase PCI Express x8 network card . I have also tried this on my Cisco Catalyst 3750x network switch and it worked at 10Gbps speed without any issues. I am really happy with this purchase especially at this price. No need to buy expensive SFP+ from Cisco or Intel. Will buy more when going to expand my network.

Good quality product for a reasonable price.
The product is of strong composition and the speed is as quoted. Took me five minutes to work out how to release it from the port but if you pull up the brass jack by the rj45 it releases it. Once locked in it doesn't easily come loose which means there is a good secure connection. Unlike others where you pull and lift up which could allow them to become disconnected. Delivery on time and seller was helpful. Fantastic product.

Works well with other manufacturers' devices
Works well with sfp switches and NICs - no issues using it with any of my five sfp+ devices. Much better value than some other "multi-compatible" brands.

Does not work with QNAP QSW 1600P
Further to my review the other day the QSFPTEK Cisco module works perfectly with my QNAP TVS-872XT NAS but will not connect at more than about 2 GbE with my QNAP QSW 1600P NAS/PoE Switch.I have tried everything I can think of but it will not have it. The module also works fine with my Macbook Pro via the QNAP Adapter QNA T310-G1T 10 GbE Thunderbolt 3 to RJ45 - a full 10 GbE achieved.QSW-1600P owners take note.
