I had none of the problems mentioned by other reviews. Well-made product and easy installation.
Review date: August, 20, 2023 -Other reviews mentioned things such as this being a flimsy product and easy to rip or tear it even by hand, and about it being difficult to install. I found neither of those things to be true with the product I received. It was exactly as advertised and pictured. The rubber is heavy duty, supple, easy to work with, and feels durable for the long term. I tried to tear it by hand (as shown in one review with a video) and I couldn't begin to tear it. The quality seems plenty good to last for many years, even here in Wisconsin where we have temperatures as high as 100F above zero in the summer to as low as 35F below zero in the winter.Still other reviewers mentioned that it was difficult to install and that they had a lot of problems. I ordered a 20-foot piece of this product to use on a pair of 9-foot-wide garage doors. I pulled out the old door seals which had seen many, many better days and were in terrible shape, brittle, broken, flattened, missing big chunks, and being at least 25 years old, origin unknown. I then used a broom to sweep the dirt and cobwebs off the bottom of the doors that had been hidden under the old seals. Then, I lubed the T-slots that this product slides into, all the way across the door using a product I had on hand called Fluid Film spray (great, useful product in its own right and available here on Amazon).I was able to replace the seals on both doors in about 30 minutes by myself, including gathering materials before and cleanup after. With one hand, I formed the new seal into a cup-shape (it ships flat and rolled up) and fed it into the door seal mounting slots, and with the other hand I pushed it along the bottom of the door until it reached the other side. I did it all while standing in one spot at one end of the door, and did not utter one cuss word the whole time. Then I used a good shop scissors I have to cut off at the proper length. Easy-peasy! The process of feeding the new seal through the slots took less than five minutes per door.Because of some of the reviews that said installation could be a headache and took them a long, frustrating time, I almost didn't do it today because it was a bit hot outside and I didn't want to get into problems in the heat. But on the spur of the moment this morning I decided to do the installation and it went great. I couldn't have asked for better if I had designed the garage doors and the seal myself. If I notice any undue or early wear on this product that shouldn't be happening I will come back to update this review, but thus far I'm very happy with the product, the installation and how much better the new seals look from both inside and outside of the garage. Much less light comes through compared to the old, worn-out seals, which means more of old man winter will stay outside where he belongs, and we heat our garage to about 60F in the winter, so that is a good thing.TL/DR : Great product. Heavy-duty, easy to work with, easy install went great, and I'm a happy customer.

Great product, material and easy installation
Good quality material, tight seal, good design with the circular core. Easy to install and they provide a bit more on the length which is awesome if you need to adjust or make additional cuts.

Good overall, but Ripped easily during installation
Ok, after reading and watching all the scary installation videos, I read the comments and did the following to install this product on our 16' 2 car garage on a 2005 built home.1) unrolled the product onto a flat surface on hot day ... which actually was pretty flat after the initial rollout and after and hour or two in the sub, the middle portion become partially tubular. No flat tub problem.2) uninstalled the old bottom weatherstrip -- used a utility knife and cut it in the middle, and pulled each side portion off. This was easy, since there was no crimping of our track. I was looking for it and had a flat head screwdriver ready, but nothing to uncrimp.3) Started to install and raised the door to about 3-4' about the ground.4) Here is the secret to installing it: ** USE DAWN TURBOWASH ... spray it on both size of the track before sliding it into the groove. Do not install it without having the dawn on it. My wife also sprayed some into both the tracks as well.5) My wife was the puller, and I was folding the rubber into a taco shape and holding the two "T" insides about 1" apart. I also made sure to spray the dawn turbowash on without fail. I would then lightly push while gliding it at an awkward angle into the track grooves while holding it like a soft shell taco (1" spaces) and keeping the striping aligned with the track (or above the tack, not below it). There was some problems during the installed. The first was the track on the weatherstrip would easily rip, and then it would not load into the track or would derail it from continuing to load. So we would back it out and ether reload it (difficult) or trim of the cut piece (usually just a few millimeters) and then continue (easier). We were generally loading about 12-17" at a time, just because we could only get the dawn on that big of a section at a time.6) We got it fed all the way, and then went maybe another 3/4" beyond on either side and then trimmed the excess off the push/feed side. All in all it went well, definately did it under 1 hour, maybe 30 minutes if you follow this process.I was a bit disappointed that the strippign would derail and tear so easily. But I guess in retrospect ... just don't put it in too hard, and make sure the dawn it on there and you are feeding it as a taco with 1" spacing ... and push and pull as a team. Worked pretty great actually.PRoduct looks way better than what we had. The door doesn't quite close all the way, but I adjusted the downward pressure on the opener a bit and all seems well.If me and my wife can do it well under and hour ... just follow my tips and hopefully it helps a bunch.DO NOT USE WD40 or any petroleum lube on rubber. The dawn dish detergent, in the spray form, was perfect. Likely better than silicone.
