Seamless, Safe and an Economic solution to turn a room into a smart room
I was looking for a good quality and a safe solution to control the the Lighting and Fan in my room using my smart phone and Alexa. After a lot of comparison and analysis, I found this device. Here are my thoughts.1. This is perfectly suited in cases when you want to control your existing lighting and fan in your room with your phone and/or a smart speaker (Alexa, Google Home). The wiring was made easy by following the included circuit diagram. A local electrician could finish it in about 45 minutes. The device is small enough to fit inside an existing switch board and does not cause any disturbance to the aesthetics of your room.2. Most of the alternatives in the market either require you to install a new switch board (OR) do not allow a switch control at all. But this device works with the existing switch board in a seamless manner. Basically you can use your phone/smart-speaker AND/OR your switch board. To top it off, the app is very intuitive. The app shows the live device status even if you use the manual switch.3. The device connects to your WiFi network (2.4Ghz only). So you can control the device from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet. So if you forget to turn off anything in your room and leave your home, you can check the status from your phone and turn it off. And if in case there is a network outage, you can always use the manual switches.4. The device even acts a safety unit. Since the switches are connected to the device instead of your lights/fan directly, the switches operate at a very low (almost nil) voltage. So there is absolutely no risk of an electric shock once the wiring is done.5. The device works perfectly even with the inverter wiring.6. The app is well made. The UI is clean and simple to understand. I am using it on a Samsung S9, iPhone 11 and an iPad Pro. No issues so far. Integration with Alexa is also perfect.7. Tinxy offers excellent customer support. The executive I reached out to was Sachin and he was very empathetic, patient and helpful with all my doubts.8. The device and the app are both made in India by Indians. Thanks to this, I can be worry free of spying/data theft/network breach/etc.In a nutshell, the product is just impressive! Do the wiring correctly, and you have an awesome home automation solution.

Works as advertised, though docs appear sketchy
Just installed it behind my 2x3 panel. Was relatively easy to do - no surprises, installing and configuring the app though required viewing a “YouTube short” tutorial, no installation docs anywhere on their official site, what you see on this product page is everything - honestly I’m surprised it works as well as it does given how sketchy it all looks from just reading official material. Though the diagram was enough to install it.The app requires extra steps than the usual ones to register itself with Alexa, but again even though it is weird and clunky, it still works. There is an audible selonoid click when you power things on and off, but I guess that is inevitable given it works directly with 220V power. When manually toggling the switches, there is also about half a second delay - which is not critical but it is very noticeable. All in all, good product, would recommend.

Home Automation System with Easy Installation and Alexa/Google Home Integration
I have been using this home automation system for a long time and I am happy to say that it has been working flawlessly without any issues. The installation process was easy and straightforward. It works seamlessly with Alexa and Google Home. However, it does not support Apple Home. The system works with both software and physical buttons and provides feedback for both. The fan regulator has three speeds and works with the app. However, it does not work with Alexa or Google Home.Overall, I am very satisfied with this home automation system and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use system that works with Alexa and Google Home. If you are an Apple user, you may want to consider other options.

Amazing smart home product with a few disappointments
It's been 2 months since I've been using this product now. It's really been very useful but there are also a few things that are a bit disappointing about let. I'll list the pros and cons here.Pros:1. The main product is very compact and fits easily in almost any switch box.2. The set up is very simple and can be done yourself by just following the instructions provided. Also works with 2 way switches (which is something I was worried about earlier).3. It's easy to set up the app and integrate it with Google Home.4. It saves the states of the switches and your devices can be controlled by the manual switches too. You can even switch on/off your fans/lights via voice commands or via the app even when the physical switch is turned off. Don't know how it works but it's pretty cool.5. The support guys are quite helpful but.....Cons:1. They say the Tinxy fan regulator provided fits inside the housing of your previous fan regulator. It doesn't. I tried many things like putting packing, taping it etc. It just doesn't fit well. It also damaged the housing of the original regulator. The Tinxy fan regulator is too small. I tried going around to a lot of electrical shops but I only got the fan knob but no housing. When I contacted Tinxy support they were very helpful with other things but they said nothing can be done about the fan regulator and I should just use voice commands instead. Then what's the point of the regulator? When my friends/family come over they prefer to control the speed via the regulator. This is very disappointing. Tinxy should at least provide the fan knob and the housing. Please keep this in mind when buying the product.2. It has limited voice commands for the fan speeds. You can only say "Set the fan speed to low/medium/high". For setting the fan speed to high. Google almost always takes it as "Set the fan speed to Hai" and it doesn't work. Also no it's not a pronunciation issue. More voice commands would help like "Set the fan speed to max" or "Increase/decrease the fan speed".3. There are times there's a long delay for the devices to turn on/off when you control it via Google. The internet is good and I don't face the same issue on other smart devices like Aziot. Note that this delay is different from the programmable delay in the app. Also it works very fast from the Tinxy app which is at least a good thing.4. Not much of an issue but the app interface could be much better.5. The device doesn't work half the time. Its their server issue but they never agree it is. They keep blaming the wifi. Please do not buy this product. If there was bluetooth at least you could control it offline but there isn't.
