Great style of the shoes but it's got a oud squeeking noise!! You can't stand it!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Recieved the shoes today, love the style ! But.....how do you say stop iy from squacking !! It's the most annoying thing ! It's ridiculously loud! Figured out where the noise was coming from it's because two leathers rub each other when you walk. It ruins the whole style of this great shoes. Ugh I'm so disappointed right now. I hate to return this because we love the style but we can't stand the noise!

So far so good😁 (12th pair now!)
Nice leather shoe and not too bulky. I put another insole right on top of whatever they had inside and it tightened up the shoe to perfection. I'm on my feet walking/running, driving and delivering packages 10-13 hours per day. I average 5-8 miles of walking every day (m-f) I wore them Friday for one of my busiest days and my feet did not ache when I got home😁. Time will tell with these shoes. I will update again as they wear out or if they just fall apart. $175 for redwings that die in 3 months....no thanks I will get my own. If they last 3 months they're no worse then redwings and 75% cheaper.UPDATE: 6 weeks in and still going strong. Tread is wearing some but still more than 50% left>Just about 3 months in and I have posted pictures of the wearAveraging about 50 miles in these per week.In and out of freezers and coolers.Comfortable to run in. Just wish there was a bit more antislip grip. If the tread was more grippy and a bit tougher these would be the best shoes a delivery guy could ask for!! But I have put them thru hell and 3 months is what I would get out of $175 redwing boots.I will post one more time just before I toss them in the trash and get new shoes.***October 19***Tossed the old pair and bought a new pair. Feet, knees, hip were starting to ache. Last 3 pics are end of life pics.FWIW: I see people posting that they squeak.😂After you walk about 10 miles it goes away.

Light, flexible, not too expensive, hold up well in my hard service.
I am a difficult fit as my toes are splayed out and most shoes are too small in the toe area. These in an extra wide width have a good size toe area. They are quite supple and require no break in.My job requires constant walking or standing on concrete floors, 12 hours per day. Due to long ago injuries i don't wear the treads evenly. These will last me between 6 - 9 months, by this mileage my shoes are beat. I feel this is good life for a fairly inexpensive shoe under my service conditions.I have had 6 or 7 pairs of these, the treads are long wearing exclusive of my issue above, the interior and insole usually holds together and the leather too. Again this is not that expensive of a shoe and i put on a lot of miles. It would be interesting to see how long they would last an office worker. Why i keep buying these shoes: They are light & fit my troubled feet. For years i wore US made 6 inch all leather boots, they cost more, lasted longer and weighed 3 or 4 times what these Skechers do, i finally had to get a lighter shoe.Note, over 99% of my work is on a hard floor, this shoe has a very flexible sole, good for walking. However if you work on a ladder much the flexible sole is not kind to the foot. Daily ladder users might want to stick with a stiffer soled boot.Insole: I can not comment on the insole comfort as i use a Ten Seconds Arch 1000 insole, about $35 and worth absolutely every cent!Summary: Light, flexible, not too expensive, hold up well in my hard service.

They're so Comfortable - I bought 3 pairs!!!
Sketchers 11.5w Black (2pr) and Brown (1pr)ProsThey are really comfortable, as a "seasoned citizen", my feet seem to have gotten "wider" with age, so the 11.5" wide version, gives me lots of toe room, but, I can still tie them nice and snug around the instep - giving a natural fit & feel.My ankles have always been "weak", easily rolled... and it sucks limping around for a week because the darn shoe has rounded edges instead of straight & solid edges. Tennis shoes are probably good for tennis, these are good for walking, wearing around the house / town, or for me, walking across farmer's fields (for work). I have NOT rolled my ankles, even though these are low cut and provide no ankle support - but, I do step carefully, as a life-long practice. They have that nice "Blue collar look" - my boss thinks they are steel toed... LOL, they are not! My toes get cold easily, so the extra room allows me to wear heavy socks, or thin socks, and my feet are comfortable. I got 3 pairs, one pair is gonna get a good spit-shine polish, and become my "Church Pair". I like to wiggle my toes! They LASTed a long time for me! I'm replacing two pairs I bought 6 years ago. One pair was getting ragged, the other pair is just looking "rough", with it's paint specks, scratches, etc. These are the ONLY shoes I wear! It's Sketchers or slippers... rain or shine, mud or hot dusty dry - they're like work boots, church shoes, go to the beach shoes, feed the ducks, cows - but, I stay away from the pigs! They "shed" dirt & mud well.Great "traction" on dry, wet or polished finishes (they can squeak like a tennis shoe). I'm comfortable on gravel driveways, concrete sidewalks, stepping across brick walkways, pavers, wet grass, up/down stairs - they do not slip, the lug soles are just right depth to avoid getting "stuck" on uneven surfaces, but enough there to walk with confidence & not be slippin' n slidin' away like a dress shoe! The sole is "stiffer" than a dress or tennis shoe, but not as stiff as a hiking boot. Walk with confidence!ConsYour feet can get warm & sweaty if you're working - so they need a day or "rest" between use - buy TWO pairs, problem solved... one pair "airs out" while you wear the other pair - these do not "breathe" like a cloth, ventilated shoe. But, you can step in a mud puddle, and the feet stay dry.-----------In the end, if you already "know your size" because you're a previous owner - the price is about the same as a store (unless they're onsale). I just looked at the tongue, got my size & ordered - they fit just like the old ones. If you're NOT a previous owner, by all means, go to a store, try them on, narrow, medium, wide and different lengths! I'm wearing a 1/2 size shorter than other brands, but wider (does that make sense..?).

I think they're comfortable beyond that but it's hard to tell when you're ...
I would give these 5 stars but for one huge issue. The back where pull up tab is at has stitching that goes back and forth where the stitch ends to keep it from coming loose. These things have rubbed blisters on the tendon part of the back of my foot/ankle. I don't know what I'm going to do. I've been wearing bandaids with tape over that on my ankles but I don't want to do this forever and I don't see the problem going away. I think they're comfortable beyond that but it's hard to tell when you're in pain from blisters.

Comfortable and Waterproof
I have feet that are quite wide, but only at the toe area, but not the heel. I ordered several pairs of shoes on Amazon, as I was unable to get any in the shops due to the "pandemic". I had to return them all, as they were either too big, too small, too wide, or too narrow. Almost in desperation, I ordered these Skechers Rilar Golf-Shoes, and, wonder of wonders, these shoes are perfect for my needs. I'm normally a size 9 or 10, but the shoes I bought are a very roomy size 9, with plenty of room around the feet, without being too loose. I've had them for about a month now, and have been on many long walks with them on, both on hard surfaces and in muddy woodlands, and the shoes seem to be wearing well. Best of all, living as I do in wet Wales, they have kept my feet perfectly dry. So, in summary, a comfortable and waterproof walking shoe, which is true to size and seems hardwearing. Highly recommended.

Excellent every day ,hardwearing shoe
My husband bought a pair of these approx 3 yeas ago as an every day work shoe and has probably worn nearly every day as he says they are the most comfortable pair of shoes he has ever had. The gel insoles still have the same bounce in them as when new.Whilst he does have a wide foot the standard fitting in that particular shoe is fine.Still in excellent condition but decided to treat him to a new pair

Skechers Men's Segment Rilar Golf-Shoes
Purchased as an everyday shoe, they are functional but a bit wide for my size 8, which I normally can buy off the shelf without any problems re: width.
