These are perfect!
I have WAY too many Bluetooth headphones. I have a pair of Jabra Elite Sports that I have never used, and when I took them out, the left one doesnt’ work. Turns out, it’s a super common thing and there’s nothing I can do b/c I’m way past the warranty period. So I was looking for sweat proof headphones for running and cycling with GOOD sound quality that weren’t $200 AND have hear through so I can hear traffic. Enter the JLAB EPIC AIR ANC. The hear through works GREAT. I can hear traffic and other people just fine. The sound quality is soooo good! You can even customize your own EQ. The sound rivals my Bose sport headphones for half the price (which I why I don’t work out with the Bose… if they’re not REALLY sweat proof I don’t want to be replacing ANOTHER $200 pair if headphones). They’d be a GREAT deal at their $100 price but they always seem to be on sale. I’m probably going to buy a back up pair next time I see them on a great deal price b/c my luck is when I need to replace them, they’re out of production.

Save your money
I bought these earphones in November of 2022. As of April 2023 I'm writing my review as a warning. While i try to maintain that my experience may not be the normal experience I will point out that this is effectively my 3rd set of these and all 3 have been trash. So a little history first. When the cellphone companies began removing traditional headphone jacks I was forced to go wireless if i wanted to have a decent phone. Walking through my local walmart one of my friends pointed out these headphones (or similar by the same company) and said his are great, so I bought a pair. My goal was to find headphones that provide a long play time on a single charge. I work 10 hours a day in a loud wood shop with a really big saw 2 feet from my head all day, so a minimum of 10 or 11 hours on a single play is what i was looking for. So here is my experience. The set I bought from Walmart lasted a few months but on day 1 had a habit of randomly disconnecting. To reconnect I had to put them back inside the charge case. Not really convenient if I'm on the other side of the shop and busy working on something. They eventually stopped working. I chalked it up to one bad set and moved on. I went with a different brand that provided better sound but less setup options and a lot of the time the right side wouldn't charge. I assumed that's because of their design and how they can fit inside the case without actually connecting. So I decided to get another pair of these JLab headphones. I went with these specifically for play time on a single charge, the stem makes them fit one way in the case, and the case actually has individual lights to say if the bud is seated right. My second set arrived in the mail and i spent 3 hours trying to get the headphones to connect to the app and my phone. Eventually i figured they are broken and requested a replacement set and returned those. Then we get to the 3rd set. This is the replacement set. After another unreasonably difficult time trying to connect I found that the instructions left out a key detail for syncing them. I found out through a rigorous search on YouTube. Finally they connected. SUCCESS!!! I was a happy camper. Indication lights to say they were charging right, long play time, easy to charge, and lots of custom options in the app. It was great... for about 2 months. It was about that point that the battery life started to dwindle. It went from making almost a 10 hour day to making about 4 hours. I thought maybe it somehow got dirt on the contacts so I cleaned them up both on the buds and the case. That didn't help. They have remained at this less than decent state since then. Let me clarify, it is only the right bud doing this, and the app says it is fully charged when i open them at the start of each day yet by time i go for lunch break the right bud dies after charging for a full night. In conclusion it is my judgment that these headphones are not of reasonable quality for the price and frustration that they bring. 3 out of 3 pairs have been failures and I'm forced to believe that my friends set is like a unicorn as all of my experience has led to me writing a bad review as a warning for anyone willing to read it. In a time when more and more companies are removing headphone jacks it is becoming more and more important that wireless headphone companies design a high quality product that works as intended, and I once again will be searching for a new set that works as advertised.

Great product but there are some things you need to know. Save 4 hours on the forum boards!
TLDR at bottom I am writing this as a tech enthusiast who has a wife who gets lost when changing the batteries in the remote control. I own several JLab products, including standalone microphones and earbuds/pods. Furthermore, I believe that they create a quality product. Their instructions and support team are, however, severely lacking. I am writing this review in hopes that it will assist another customer in having a stellar experience. The instructions provided with the product, JLab website, and many of the forum boards lack some basic information on how to troubleshoot the ear pods/buds. All the JLab instructions for the buds/pods begin with: AUTO-CONNECTING EARBUDS Press and hold both buttons 3+ seconds to power ON. One earbud blinks blue/white, indicating ready to pair to your device. A tech novice has a problem when the instructions don't include what to do when this does not happen right out of the box. If I wasn't a tech junky or stubborn, I would have shipped them back in defeat. So, after contacting the tech support line, scouring the forums and message boards, and doing a little troubleshooting on my own, here is what I learned. TLDR; The earbuds/pods are stored on the shelf for an extended period of time. These devices are manufactured and shipped with a limited battery charge. Occasionally, when you receive them, they are not recognized in the charger as needing to take on a charge. You will need to remove and replace them in the charging dock until the blue indicator light turns off, then repeat. This process adds a little juice to the pod/bud until, eventually, it starts charging. Once the blue charging lights stay on more than a few seconds, they have enough of a charge for the charging dock to continue charging without you having to remove the pods/buds. I had to perform the remove and replace process 60+ times before the pods/buds had enough of a charge to continue the process on its own. Once the pods/buds had a decent charge, the steps for pairing included in the instructions work as written. I hope these steps help someone with this product, or set some expectations on your purchase.

Excellent earbuds under $100
I wanted to purchase some earbuds that under $100 and after research I decided on this pair. Primarily is its ability to provide most control functions on the earbuds. Each earbud is synced to my phone and when I take one off, what I am listening to stops. The sound was amazingly good, and JLAB has a mobile app to adjust the EQs, noise cancellation level, tap controls, and firmware updates. The app works really well. It is light and the carrying case is compact with a charging cable attached. It can be wirelessly charged too. Due to the shape of my right ear canal, I had to buy a 3rd party ear-tips - SpinFit, to help my right earbud in staying securely in my ear. The earbuds block out sound quite well that I find that I don't need the noise cancellation on most of the time. However, the noise cancellation is very good. The connecting distance to my phone is as it was advertised, around 35-40 feet, very good. I have noticed that there are sudden drop in connections once in a while. The tap controls sometimes would not respond well, I hope JLAB will put out a new firmware to take care of this. I would recommend these airbuds to anyone.

NEVER WOULD ENTER PAIRING MODE!
I got these headphones for my hubby's Galaxy Note 8. I only bought these because I had a different (older) set of JLab earbuds and had a pretty good experience with my last JLab product. Hubby saw them and when his custom headphones gave up the ghost after many years of service, he hinted at these being a birthday present option *lol*. So imagine my shock and disappointment with these dead as a doorknob earbuds. Like several complaints here have said, I was unable to get these headphones into pairing mode. To be clear, this is NOT an issue with his phone. I also couldn't get these headphones to pair with ANY of our phones. (my personal and work cell, and hubby's work cell) FOUR DIFFERENT PHONE MODELS! So, I am confident the issue ISN'T with the devices, but these goofy headphones. I followed the directions on box. I took to Google to research similar problems. I watched COUNTLESS videos online all to no avail. In other words what we got is a dead USELESS product. Unfortunately, I missed the return window with Amazon so now I we are stuck with headphones that are as useless as t!ts on a bull! I reached out to the seller (Woot) and unfortunately, they can only offer a refund if we ship these DOA headphones back at our cost! (grrrrrr) It will cost $20-30 to mail these junk headphones back to get our $80 back. No thanks. I don't see myself buying another set of JLab earbuds to replace these, and if I'm being really honest, I'm not too keen on Woot either right now! *lol* I am BEYOND over it! SMH.. UPDATE: I reached out to JLab after writing this review to see if they would honor a warranty claim on these earbuds. I mean why not? They should be WELL within the warraty period right?? Guess again BUCKOS! Even after providing JLab the proof of purchase (as they requested) that I bought these from Woot via Amazon, JLab told me that they couldn't "confirm" that I had purchased the earbuds. They provided no other options for me. So I informed them that these earbuds will be headed for a landfill where they most assuredly belong! Don't waste your time and money on these. I purchased the "Soundcore by Anker Liberty 4 NC Wireless Earbuds" on Amazon directly from Soundcore's Amazon shop (no more Woot for me). These earbuds paired IMMEDIATLY without the need for YouTube videos on the innerwebs to troubleshoot pairing issue and they sound AMAZING. I immediately replaced mine and my niece's older JLab earbuds. Bye bye JLab (and Woot)!

Awesome product, short lifespan
I've bought these twice so far because I love the fit, sound quality, and most of all the amazing battery life. My husband has the sport set and we love the share audio function! However three times now the charging case has broken. The first came broken and I easily exchanged them at bestbuy. The second stopped working after about 6 months, but I haven't seen any bad reviews so I just thought it was bad luck. Now I've bought a third pair because I really do like these headphones but the case won't charge again!! It's basically just a paperweight now that the headphones are dead. I'm super bummed because I love everything else about these headphones! They are great, awesome quality and long battery life, amazing noise cancelation but just be especially careful with the case and be prepared to replace them in 6mo.

JLab is amazing
I bought these about a year ago as a backup to more expensive earbuds. I must say I like the hear through better then the others I have and the noise canceling is pretty good too. The fit is not perfect, but for me no earbud is. that is an an annoyance but not a fault of JLab. The reason I am writing this review is for the support. My dog ate one of the earbuds this weekend and i e-mailed about buying a replacement as she only damaged one of them. I looked at support hours for them and thought I would get a runaround response Monday. To my surprise, on Sunday my question was tended to, and without asking JLab offered to replace the entire set. I was asked to verify my purchase. I was then given a promo code to re-buy the damaged set. i am 100% pleased with JLab quality and customer care.
