Sharp auger bit for the price
This auger bit goes thru tree stump like a hot knife goes through butter. Five stars all the way.

Sturdy, quality auger does the job.
I used this on tree stumps from two large 100 year-old trees. Other bits failed, bent, or irretrievably got stuck. This one worked the best, but it requires a powerful drill with corded electricity, not a handheld battery drill. Still in good condition after doing the job.

Works best on thicker marerial
Works great for deeper holes and thicker wood. It splits 3/4” wood but found works great for anything 1-1/2” or thicker. Burrowed right through a 4x4, amazing.

These work great. Used them to drill through railroad ties which is rough on everything. Was able to drill about 20 holes 12 inches in before the bit finally wore out which is about the same as a bit from the hardware store that was twice the price. So this is definitely a great value and better bang for your buck.

Works well for digging small holes.
Works well for what I needed. I needed to place holes in the dirt so that I could install a solar light. Easy peasy even in dry summer scorched dirt.

Arrived bent at end where you would attach to drill. Poor quality or at least poor quality control.
Spiral potion of bit seems OK. From the spiral portion to the end of where you would attach to your drill, this bit is bent by about 5 degrees. There was not any packaging damage, so this was the product that their factory produced and packaged. In other words, this is a very poor quality bit, borderline junk. The only reason I am not returning is that I need to drill some holes in landscape timbers today. If I was trying to do anything precise this bit would be useless. If you roll this on a flat surface, you'd almost laugh at how bad it was. Very poor value since the product is defective to begin with. I would avoid this brand in the future.

Disappointing!
I purchased this in order to make holes in a tree root i am ATTEMPTING to remove. I add to the hole Magnesium Sulphate ie EPSOM SALTS which goes down to holes, dehydrates the roots making them easy to remove! This Drill Bit was NOT successful, it got stuck and broke my drill!

Didn't break.
I drilled a bunch of holes and it didn't break. Much better than the other bit I bought before which broke off and it's still lodged in the wood.
