These work well if you use your right hand to cut. Fortunately I do and they are sharp and do a very nice job with intricate cuts. It’s time consuming to do and entire 8x10 rug but well worth the results.

I felt this was a bit pricy, but they are very good quality. Very sharp. Great angle for the purpose of cutting loose carpet threads, of which I have many thanks to my cat, compared to regular scissors. It is weirdly satisfying to remove all the loose threads. Carpet looks almost new again.

We were looking for a great set of scissors to save some very expensive wool rugs. These worked perfectly and are very comfortable to use. Takes some time to be dedicated, but cut flat and easy. WELL worth the money without question.

We have a cat and carpeting in select rooms plus stairs. Cat owners immediately know where I am going. Cats tend to pull at carpeting with their claws and these scissors do a great job of trimming any minor frays.

All of my rugs have been destroyed by my cats. Or so I thought. I'm working on my wall to wall carpet on 2nd floor and it looks sooooo much better! Beware though. For some reason, it's addicting. You keep trying to stop, the next thing you know it's 3 hours later. Just one of those things I guess.

Roberts makes good products at reasonable prices and these duckbills are no exception. I'm a carpet cleaner and these make quick work of things that won't clean out or carpet frays. They came plenty sharp (can easily be resharpened when necessary). Good construction and should last a very long time.
