Works but Designed for thinner folks
I have a 35/36" waist. This was just on the edge of being too small. I'm using it over thin hiking pants with a web belt and I could just get it buckled over. That said it worked great for hours of hiking in the rain. No issues with condensation. Small enough to wad into any pocket if the rain stops. Long enough to keep thighs and knees dry without picking up splashed mud from the ground.

QC issues + extra weight
Material looks good, should function great as a rain skirt. Docked two stars for poor quality control, mine has random marker on it as well as poor stitching on the waistband and belt strap. Also weighs 95g on my scale.

Lighter than shorts
They’re lighter than shorts. Typically wear size 32 or medium in shorts. Wraps around me fine. Always carry my rain skirt/kilt when backpacking because you never know. Worn them on my lunch walks a couple times.First time wearing this in inclement weather I was hiking Pikes Peak where there was rain, sleet, hail and snow all on the descent. Wind changed direction a couple times. Learned the slit either blows it open or pushes it shut depending on orientation towards the wind. This may be annoying in shifting winds.Overall, it works as advertised. Could be used for a variety of other uses such as keeping gear off damp ground while going through your pack. Works for my needs.

Can be used for a variety of things
I bought one two years ago for our backpacking trip to Colorado. This year on our trip it rained almost every day. We used the skirt as a tarp and was able to sit under the trees and enjoy the mountains. We also used it at night to sit our backpacks on so they didn't get wet. We loved it so much that we came back nd ordered another one

Rain skirt, kilt, cape, and more.
How cool is this! Easy off and on. Many more uses camping, backpacking, hiking. Walking. Inexpensive and clever.

A bit smaller than you think
I am a 36 inch waste and this rain skirt is a hair too small to get the clasp to snap in. It says it fits up to 39.3 inch waist but didn't work for me.

More cape than skirt
I was excited for this rain skirt. My usual size is XL and my doctor says I’m in a healthy weight range. The skirt does not wrap around me it has a lovely side slit or back slit depending how fashionable I’m feeling. It does repel rain and it does block the wind but I would be happier if it wrapped completely around my normal size frame. None of my hiking friends are model thin so I won’t be recommending this rain skirt ☹️

Great for the price, though heavier than advertised
The skirt it self is 75.4g and the bag is 4.5g. This is almost 10g heavier than advertised. It isn't a big deal, but should be stated. It is fastened with hook and loop and a strap that has a plastic buckle. The strap and buckle weighs 6.7g, so you could save weight there. I don't find the strap helpful. My waist is close to 36" and it fits ok. I'll probably add a small self adhesive hook and loop tab half way down to keep it closed better.Overall, I'm happy with it. It's well priced and should hold up for a long time.
