Nice concept with underwhelming execution
The concept seems nice. You get a little booklet with a story. The puzzle is supposed to help you solve the mystery. You don't get a picture of the puzzle (obviously) so it's an added challenge. However, it just doesn't really live up to that.For one, it's a complete rip of Agatha Christie. The booklet they give you has the gist of a story, but really doesn't have any intricacies or clues that would help you figure out "who done it."The puzzle itself, once assembled also doesn't tell you who's done it. You just have to read the end of the story. It's not very satisfying.Additionally, the puzzle I received had a duplicate piece. The amount of brown on the puzzle and lack of guide picture makes it challenging to complete, but it can be done in a couple days.Difficulty: 3.5/5 (box would be very helpful, and there is so much brown on the puzzle)Picture quality: 3.5/5 (so much brown)Piece quality: semi-glossType of pieces: regular, 4-sided with knobs and tabs

Fun to figure out
The mystery certainly lies with the puzzle itself. Once you've completed it, the murder mystery part is trivial, but still fun to guess before you have all the clues. The story booklet describes the scene you'll be putting together in with the puzzle pieces, and the puzzle will solve the murder.

Extremely colorful!
I hesitated in purchasing this puzzle as most reviews were negative ones. HOWEVER, I have almost all of these puzzles and this was by far one of the hardest ones to complete. It is very colorful and the pieces were all there this time. I have had several that were missing 1-3 pieces but have found that it really didn't matter as it was part of the allure of the puzzle.....you concentrated more. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Hope they come out with some new ones soon!

Ended up with extra duplicate pieces and one missing piece.
Very strange that had extra pieces and missing one piece once we got it put together. Disappointing! Not a whole lot to the mystery. You didn’t actually need the puzzle to figure out the answer. It was just a story that you read then solved the mystery. Puzzle wasn’t needed. There are much better puzzle mysteries out there.

A good challenge
This occupied many enjoyable hours. The challenge is that there is no picture of the completed scene, but that adds to the fun. Expect great satisfaction when you finally complete the jigsaw. This is not the first I have bought in this series, and will not be the last.

Missing a piece
The puzzle I received was missing a piece. I would also say that the quality of the bepuzzled puzzles has gone down. I first purchased a mystery puzzle from them 20 years ago and the pieces were thicker, that matters less though than the missing piece.

Great for murder mystery and jigsaw fans!!
This is the second one of these we have purchased. Thoroughly enjoyed the first that was brought as a gift for Christmas, so decided to buy another as a birthday gift. With the picture on the jigsaw not being the same as the one on the box it does make it slightly harder, but this adds to the fun of completing it! Will certainly buy another in the future
