Babyzen YOYO+ Car Seat Adapters

Contrary to some reviews, the car seat piece secures tightly to the Nuna Pipa car seat and you CAN fold the stroller while the stroller piece is attached to the frame. The car seat piece will not fall off, we have attached it to the car seat two months ago and never took it off, no issues. Also we have left the small stroller part on the stroller and folded the frame and also attached the newborn pack and again no issues. The Stroller part is a bit tricky to get on but once you learn the trick it slides on easily, play with the angle and make sure to slide it on from the thinner part of the frame.

I wondered how secure this would be, but I needn’t have worried. It takes a bit of effort, but once you’ve secured these attachments on the stroller main frame, there’s no chance the car seat is moving anywhere unless you want it to. The car seat rests on the stroller itself, so the weight is supported by the seat of the stroller and stays in place by the adapters. It comes in two pieces; an attachment that secures on the main frame, and the adapters themselves which clip on to the first attachment. You cannot fold the stroller fully with the adapters on. It’ll prop the canopy up instead of lying flat, but that’s not an issue for me. It’s so easy removing them that it’s a very quick extra step. If I know I’m going to be needing it again soon, I fold it with the adapters still on and put it in the trunk. We took it on the plane and just slipped the adapters in the travel bag under the canopy so they wouldn’t slide out. No issues at all! Overall, great addition to the yo-yo stroller.

The Yoyo2 is such a great travel stroller. It's pretty amazing how small it folds up!! This converter allowed us to fit a compatible car seat with it.

5 stars because they were quality made and easy to use I did return them because my car seat wasn’t compatible! If you have a Mesa car seat, these will not work

I bought these to attach to our YOYO baby stroller so we could attach the Nuna Pipa carseat to the stroller frame. They work great. Once you slide the adapter base onto the stroller frame, the actual clips are super easy to detach/re-attach with the little white buttons, so that you can quickly and easily re-fold the stroller all the way back down. I do have to say this - in all of our significant use of the stroller (use it almost every day, have taken 4 plane flights with it and the baby), it wasn't until the 3rd flight (and baby was about 5 months old) that a gate agent unclipped just the top part of these adapters only to fully fold the stroller up! So we had been removing the whole adapter unit (clip and base) from the frame every time we were in a situation where we had to fold the stroller completely flat, which definitely takes a little more effort! We both read the instructions pretty thoroughly, and it was not very clear, so the only reason I take 1 star off is for the unclear instructions. All in all though, these things work well and have held up against a lot of wear. You can leave the adapter base on the stroller frame, just remove the top clips, and the stroller will still fold all the way flat. I hope it helps!

Very difficult to attach to the frame, I almost thought we received the wrong size, but with some extra strength we managed. Extremely sturdy and fits our car seat perfectly. It makes traveling a lot easier, highly recommend getting even thought it was a bit pricey.
