Sound quality is awesome. Sometimes will pick up noise from room. App will have functional tutorials. Easy to wear around neck.

These are great for those of us who can’t hear. Normal stethoscopes I had a hard time hearing the lung sounds especially in those PTs who shallow breathed. Now I can hear the lung sounds perfectly clear as well as heart sounds. Highly recommend

It comes with a rechargeable battery. Plugs in easily with a micro type USB connection, however, a very short cord. Having some hearing impairment. Impairment it really amplifies heart sounds as well as the sounds taking a blood pressure.. It's fairly simple and very easy to operate.

There is no worse feeling than being a student nurse in clinical and not being able to hear a heartbeat while on a cardiac ICU. It is so embarrassing. However, you will NEVER have a problem with auscultation with this stethoscope. The difference is INSANE. The only downside is that it sounds so good that everyone else will decide to use your stethoscope instead of theirs. Trust me and buy it. It is an investment in your career.

As a former Fire & Rescue EMT I went all out and I bought this 3M Littmann CORE digital stethoscope to compliment my Wellue BP2 Connect - Blood Pressure Monitor + AI-ECG and O2/pulse finger monitor. I will be adding a few more items to my "set" soon. My declining health and doctors somewhat dictated that I get those and few other things. I decided that I would bite the bullet and get now what I could not afford as and EMT back then. Sometimes nice things just make you feel better, at least that was my perspective and rationale that I used to justify this. I will leave it to my favorite doctor in my Will! lol It is nice and works well, but very overpriced for me and my application- that of being the patient and not a doctor, especially a cardiologist and that is who this setup is aimed at. I would like to suggest that they have an APP that is aimed for people/users like me, but it is a HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL DEVICE and I suspect that there are very few of the MEs out there that will spring for this and at the price they ask. When I saw my GP today he and his assistant were impressed, and got the appropriate amount of OOOHs and AAAAHHHs that one would expect. I like COPPER color and that is what I got with gold being to tripe and overused now-days I picked COPPER as my go-to metallic color of choice. I do with the metal earpieces would match instead of being black, but I bet I can make a project of it and copper plate it at home one of these days??However, after getting this and more contemplation- I have decided that if I were todo it over again, YES- I would do it again. Now if I can find an APP that would let me integrate this S-Scope with the Wellue products then I would be a really happy camper. I don't have time to learn to program an APP to do it so I will just have to hope some bored programmer will and let me know! lolYES- If this is what you need and want, go for it- buy it and then ask nicely for better software if you need it (like me). I did not like the optional ID tag that I purchased with it. At any price (or free) is a cheap-out option to go with such a fine medical instrument and then put their name on it!?! What were you thinking 3M/LITTMANN? Someone in authority needs to see the packaging and quality and reconsider that option, seriously reconsider.Yes- get the S-scope CORE Digital thing and pass up the optional ID thing. Maybe use a gold paint pen and write your name behind the short hose, sounds trashy but it is a step up from what they offer and actually put their brand on! I’ve had this stethoscope for 3 months and it’s made an absolute world of difference for me! I work in Family Medicine doing manual blood pressures every day. I have some hearing loss in both ears so my regular Littmann Classic III wasn’t a great fit for me most of the time. This has really been a game changer for me at work, because of the adjustable/amplified volume. It has other features, that I personally do not use, so I can’t speak to those. I haven’t NEEDED to charge it yet, because I switch it off when I’m done using it, in between patients. For me this stethoscope is amazing because of the ability to adjust the volume. It does need to be turned on to pair with the app, which is how I check the battery life. I don’t use the app for anything else really though, personally. It’s not heavy like I expected. I wear it around my neck all day long and the weight doesn’t bother me. The tubing has held up surprisingly well too, as I keep my stethoscope kind of folded up in a carrying case when I’m not using it. Overall I feel like this was worth the money I spent on it!! It’s an investment for me to do my job well, with confidence and accuracy. Hope this helps someone!
