Fox Run Terracotta Brown Sugar Keeper and Saver, Bear, Set of 2

I use these in brown sugar, marshmallows, ect. They lengthen the products life significantly. I'd recommend this item! Especially if you don't go through brown sugar or marshmallows quickly.

I went into the purchase as a skeptic. I have some brown sugar that was like a rock. I put one in a ziplock with the brown sugar for few days and it was softening it up again. I did break the brown sugar into couple big chunks originally, but that probably was not necessary. I will store brown sugar with one of these with it from now on. Worth the purchase!!

These bears keep my brown sugar nice and moist. I used to waste lot because it would get so hard it was unusable. Soak it in water. Dry off the excess water. Put it in container with brown sugar. In just a day or two, even the hardest brown sugar will be as good as new. And they are cute!

These do what they are supposed to do, but my experience is:I soak them in warm/hot water for 10 mins, pat them dry, and half submerge them in the sugar and put the jar away. Two weeks later the brown sugar is soft BUT the sugar nearest the bear is mostly white and it appears as if a lot of the molasses was driven to the bottom of the jar. The bottom of the jar is just good, very dark, brown sugar - not soupy. So I have to stir the jar a little before use.That’s not a problem because the brown sugar is soft 😀

I used these for my brown sugar. They are cute and I did soak them in water as the directions say. The product worked so so , not very good. I went back to using a piece of bread. The bread works really great and keeps the sugar nice and soft.

Can be used to keep things moist after soaking (brown sugar, baked goods, dried fruits, etc or you can use it dry to absorb moisture in things such as salt, spices, etc! I never have a pack of brown or turbinado sugar without one of these cute bears keeping it moist.

I used this for hard as a rock Costco size big bag of brown sugar that my daughter opened and didn't close up that I found about 2 months later.I followed the instructions, soaking two of the terracotta bears for 20 min, placed them the bag, closed it and next morning, the brown sugar was soft, like new. No more using hard and clumped brown sugar that made the baked item oversweet or second guessing the measurements. I'm so excited and regret not knowing about this until now. BTW, I hardly write reviews and I am very compelled to write this one. No regrets!

Had some brown sugar in a container for a few months and the brown sugar is still moist not clumpy. I didnt think it would work but so far so good. Hopefully it can last for quite a while before I have to submerge back into water to recharge.
