Ultimate Hammocks Hanging Kit Hammock Indoor Outdoor

I don't have any mature trees but I do have a hammock. I figured I could hang the hammock from my double garage door frame and sure enough, it works like a dream. These attached extremely quickly and feel very secure. There is only one lag screw for each. Doesn't look like much but it holds me and my kids. I have noticed no bending/warping of the metal so far after a summer of use.[INSTALLATION]I measured up from the floor and predrilled a hole in the middle of my garage door stud on each side. Just eyeball a drill bit that's about the same size as the screw diameter minus threads. I took the time to wax the lag screws to make driving them in easier, but you could drive them in without. Use a socket wrench or regular old combination wrench to drive in the screws to the stud. I honestly couldn't tell if the 'ears' were supposed to be facing into the hammock or on the outside, but the smaller end should be pointing down. You will get some rotation of the brackets once you load up the hammock with weight, so if you're concerned about your walls getting scuffed, load the hammock with a buddy before tightening the final turn so you get the correct angle to tighten.

I hung my hammock up in my living room with these, it’s been a couple months now and they’re holding up great! I used a stud finder to find the post in the wall, from there it was pretty easy to put everything together!I would suggest adding some cushion between the metal and the wall, to prevent further damage outside of the hole that the screw makes. I used circular felt that had sticky on one side, I cut a hole in the middle and put the screw through it, sticking it onto the metal.

Used these to hang a hammock in my son's room. They are very sturdy as long as you have strong walls. We both lay in the hammock, that's combined weight of 200lbs. My only complaint is the carabiners, they have shaped sharp and snagging edges at the opening that can snag and shred your straps. I recommend buying smooth opening carabiners.

Works excellent for the bed that takes up no space. Strong and secure. If you use the bolts that come with it yoh must predrill a pilot hole or you will twist the head off. My suggestion is to get grade 5 or higher 3 inch long lags and use them instead. You will hang with a better peice of mind.

I purchased this set to hang a hammock in my teenage daughters room. She has been using her hammock to sleep part-time now. They were super easy to install and went up great. The other day I went in there to check on things and see how everything was holding up. I was really disappointed to see that the carabiners that came with the set were already starting to wear. They have a groove where they are resting in the eye of the anchor bolt hangers.

Love this hammock, had always bought the roap ones. Never again. You can unlatch from the tree during bad weather and it has an attached pouch you can roll it up and put it in and bring inside. Plus the price cannot be beat!

I found the stud and drilled a test hole, with the stud location verified I drilled a larger hole and bolted the mount in place, I repeated for the other mount and then hung my 11 ft hammock. Sleeping in my hammock every night I can't see any sign of the slightest movement in these mount, they are very solid.The lag bolts are actually quite large and should hold up well for years of use!
