Good not great
Have had about a week. The bad: battery life is TERRIBLE. Nowhere near advertised. I used recommended cr123a and I get like 2 1/2 hrs with no IR lamp. Have not used external power source yet. I've used 10 batteries, Duracell, 2-3 hrs tops. Rechargeable cr123a not recommended but I don't see any alternative. 4 color modes, green, normal, amber and B&W. The normal color is best for day and night. Green washes out so much detail and low light clarity it's almost useless honestly. The zoom is very nice but it can zoom so close unless tripod mounted you can't see much without image bouncing around alot. Pic quality very good if dead still, I mean STILL! Vid quality very nice regardless of tripod. Playback function nice, relatively easy to learn. I don't think you can delete individual pics and vids, I'm not 100% sure. The buttons are easy, 3 on top and button wheel next to eyepiece for menu selection. I like the wheel but itis placed in strange place, kind of uncomfortable. It is very well made, doesn't feel cheap even a little except battery cap, grinds when being screwed on, maybe just mine does this. The best thing about these are the stars! You can see them all. Don't see any with your eyes? These see all. The only thing I don't like is the green color for night vision. You see so many more stars and detail at night in normal color and B&W I don't understand why the other color modes are even used. IR lamp is amazing. Focusable, long range. Total darkness sight is incredible. Ive used other gen 3 night vision that were much better but much more expensive. These are worth the money and I recommend them just wish they did a little more. Get a Seahorse hardcase, the supplied bag offers no protection.

The device is good, when I had it. NEVER RECEIVED BACK FROM WARRANTY
I ordered this in February, loved it, sent it back for a simple enough fix within a 30 day time period from purchasing. seller keeps telling me he has to wait for it from a factory. Well how about you replace my 600.00 dollar Monocular with one that works and send it to me. Keep the one from the factory, THAT BTW, did not need a factory fix when I sent it in. But somehow, after sending it back, I received it with the SD slot pushed in..?! I'd really like to get this resolved soon. When it only had a battery issue in the first place. It's been months..this is starting to feel illegal

I wanted to like this item…
The unit was very solid, definitely not a toy. I wanted to use it to look 100 yards or so across the pond in back of our house. While the ability to take pictures and movies was very nice, I just couldn’t see anything at night. For me the infrared light was pretty much worthless.

This one is a keeper!
I’m also very impressed with this monocular. I tried several night vision devices ranging from $250 to $350. They all felt like toys and the quality of the image was not there. Felt like I was looking through plastic lenses. This device is solid and worth every penny. Even without using the IR illuminator, if there is moonlight, you can see clearly in the night. I highly recommend this device. Make sure you remove the daylight filter at night.

Make sure you have extra batteries, because the battery life is terrible.

Depends on why you want to do
Too much manual work, more for stargazing than hunting, but beautiful Lens/camera light technology nonetheless, solid for the $

Extremely Impressed!
I’m VERY impressed with this monocular. I bought five different night vision monoculars ranging from $200-$1000, and this one by far surpassed my expectations. I needed a good night vision unit so I could use my drop trap at night, and this unit is definitely the best under $1000 I have found. It has three night color display options, violet, traditional green, and black/white. The image is crisp, and doesn’t have that liquid display appearance ive found on other competitors, and you have the ability to easily focus on whatever you’re target is. I also found that zooming didn’t compromise the image quality as much as other NV units I have tried. You have to remember to take the color lense off if you’re using it at night, I forgot to when I first used it and was almost going to return it, a mild case of user error on my part. I’m surprised more people haven’t heard of this company. There are hardly any reviews on YouTube and other outlets, and I can’t figure out why... other than perhaps, it’s just not a well known brand. Also, the attached IR illuminator really works well, and is adjustable. If you’re in the market for a good NV piece, definitely try this one out. I really don’t see this disappointing people, it certainly is a win in my book.
