Good product. 2-3 applications calm my itchy scalp after getting my Senegalese hair twist. I can't use certain things on my scalp like hair grease and oils due to my face breaking out in pimples. This product didn't have my face breakout too bad. I'd say 20% breakout, so I'd recommend this product for normal to sensitive scalps.-Queenie approved 👍🏽

So this is for usage in the scalp when you have braids or weaves or locks or something like that. I used it just for my dry scalp in general. I suffer from CCCA and my scalp is always itchy and irritated. I sometimes have sores on my scalp and I need something other than clobetasone for my scalp. This does the job for real. I like the fact that it has peppermint oil in it. I can apply this and my scalp will immediately stop itching and have a very cooling sensation that lasts a long time. It works better than steroids at soothing my scalp and I plan to stick with this over steroids as it's easier on my scalp. This has become a staple in my haircare regimen. the only thing that I don't like is how it's like a water consistency so It will affect your roots if they aren't relaxed or are natural. It will make it shrink some but it's so worth it.

A God send for your scalp after getting braids. Very soothing on the scalp with a mild tingling. I also used product on my daughter after styling her hair without braids. This is definitely a multi use product that moisturizing the hair and scalp.Update: I was literally going to take my braids down because of the tension. This product helped relax my scalp so I could keep my braids longer.

I've been getting protective crochets for almost a year and the cornrows underneath have to be tight in order for the crochets to stay in. I've tried just using hairspray and other oils to help with the tension but this lotion is a miracle! I love how my scalp feels. And the peppermint scent is wonderful!!

I'm not sure how well this product works because it actually made my daughter's scalp itch more than it was itching before we tried it. We tried a couple of times and both times, she ended up with a very itchy scalp. She doesn't have particularly sensitive skin so I'm not sure what the problem ingredient could be. I would recommend trying it on a tiny part of your scalp first, just in case.

I just recently did my hair in passion twists (via rubber band method). We all know how tight and irritating rubber bands can be to your scalp. My head is the most tender in the top/center of my head. I used this on it and instantly found relief. Only complaint is that the smell is a bit funky. It's not disgusting but not very pleasant...come on now peppermint and avocado? Shoulda known that lol. I didn't have to use a lot and the smell isn't very powerful and doesn't stay behind.
