This is smaller than I expected but it turns out that is a good thing. I have wanted one of these for 30 years and finally have one! It is beautiful!!!

Beautiful vibrant semi-precious stone surface, not really a globe for searching locations, but a delicious sense of global space. The supporting frame is light but looks great and allows the globe to be turned. A lovely, rich, nostalgic decoration.
