Soap from Waterfall Glen is always special. We've been buying the various soaps and body butters from local vendors and were pleasantly surprised to see their products on Amazon. I've had problem skin my entire life and have had to look for soaps and body care products that were gentle on my skin, yet cleansed and naturally moisturized. I was Super Happy to discover the line of soaps from Waterfall Glen. They leave your skin feeling clean and supple - no chemical residue or artificial residue or scents. A very, very natural soap that is gentle on your skin, has a variety of wonderful scents, and is made in the U.S.A. The Pitch Dark soap is full of aroma, but not overwhelming - a great way to start your day! :-)

This soap is amazing!!!!! The scent is fantastic and it's actually helped my dry winter skin!! I was initially disappointed with how quickly the soap disappeared, however after receiving a lovely email from the sellers of Waterfall Glen Soap Company, my disappointment turned around completely. I was told to remove the soap from the shower and allow it to dry outside of the shower to prevent the soap getting wet and being wasted down the drain. We did as suggested and it saved the soap. I am planning on ordering more Pitch Dark as well as the Mistique and Costa Rican Adventure scents.I seriously like the product, but most of all, I really really appreciate the owners of Waterfall Glen Soap Co., for just being AWESOME people!!! They responded to my concerns about the soap within the hour of my messaging them! Their response was truly genuine and cordial. They made suggestions for preserving the soap in order for me to enjoy it as long as possible, and suggested different soaps that I may enjoy.They have won my business and I will definitely tell my friends all about Waterfall Glen Soap Co. and the products they offer.If you're seeking natural and extremely well made soap/body products made by a small business; I recommend that you give the soaps a try and see for yourself what quality handmade soaps are like and experience the personal service for yourself!!

I really like the scent of this soap. We have one in the bathroom on the counter to just enjoy the fragrance. When we do use it in the shower, it is easy to hold and lathers nicely. We originally bought several soaps at a farmers' market in Frankfort, glad they also sell online.

That is black soap with charcoal and I have been always very interested of using black soap. I have used other black soap but Pitch Dark is very interesting because it is rich in essential oils and I happened to love the combination of herbs. A friend of mine smelled it and said:"this one smell hits me at my third eye"! Well, I know her for a long time, that is how she says if she likes smell very much! We are immigrants and Pitch Dark draws us back to the old countries and bring us memories of herbs.The size of the soap is actually very good and solid. I am a small woman and is almost bigger than my hand.Another thing I noticed and I love is the name and the drawing of that " eye" on the packaging!It seems that this company is creative ! I wonder what stay behind the "eye" and the name; how they come up with this idea?

My daughter has very sensitive skin so I thought I would try this soap. After using it myself, I noticed my rough, dark, dry elbows were smooth and clear. I have had rough dry elbows for over 50 years. Using this soap after only a few washes completely fixed my elbows and any other dry patchy areas on my body. It is a miracle. I have tried many lotions, scrubs and concoctions. Nothing ever worked. I actually gave up and accepted the fact that I would always have ugly elbows. After using the soap a few times, I was drying off and noticed that I had smooth and normal colored elbows. I was amazed. I was just buying a vegan soap and found a solution to a problem I had learned to live with. You must try this soap.

I don’t love this soaps smell which smells kinda like licorice but I absolutely love love love what this soap has done for my skin. It has totally healed and cleared my breakouts and has given me the clearest skin I’ve ever had. The licorice scent doesn’t linger and isn’t so overpowering that I’d want to use another soap. I love this soap and am on my second bar and am planning on ordering more before I run out this time. Hands down best soap I’ve ever used and will be using this soap from here on out.

I've purchased the charcoal bar 3-4 times now, and in the past, I've loved it and would have given it 5 stars. However, this last bar that I purchased is somehow different. My face hasn't been as clear, and the bar lasted half the amount of time. Add to that the price increase, and I'm finding myself hard-pressed to buy it again. Did something change in the formula?

I like the clean feeling and the aroma of the soap i use it in the shower. Great product.
