Light, Warm, and Going Strong for 2 years.
The long sleeve shirt is impressively warm for how lightweight it feels, making it ideal for layering without bulk. The fit is a bit loose on my 5'10", 180 lb frame, but still extremely comfortable. And the socks? Bonus points all day—they’re ridiculously comfortable, warm, and well-made. Pros: ✅ Deceptively Warm Shirt – Lightweight feel with heavyweight warmth ✅ Excellent for Layering – Perfect for work or motorcycle rides ✅ Top-Tier Socks – A standout part of the set ✅ Breathable & Soft Merino Wool – Regulates temperature well Cons: ❌ A Bit Loose – Could be more fitted, but still cozy Final Thoughts: This set is a must-have for cold weather, with a shockingly warm shirt and socks that steal the show. Ideal for working outdoors, winter riding, or daily layering.

Second review, a great bargain 4/5
New review: 4/5 I have purchased 4 of these in the last years. The first ones, reviewed above were very thin and I did not review as good, but these last heavy ones I really like. They are very nice and warm, and they do not pick up any odor. They also fit well if you get the right size, and contrary to some other reviews I read do not get stretched out. The colors though limited are nice and the material seems much heavier and stronger. My only real criticism is that I don't like the logo on the left sleeze. I wish there were a way to remove it. Merino.tech is a good bargain for warm winter clothes. I would recommend and buy again as well. -- old review of lighter shirt -- Seriously, why make something like this if it is so thin as to be see-through. I guess I can put it under a sweater in mild cool weather, but this is not what I thought I was ordering. The free-socks are a nice touch, but it would have been better if they would have added the sock material to the shirt so it was not transparent.

So happy I purchased this base layer shirt.
My first merino clothing. I hike year round and was having sweating issues in the winter from the layers I wore. I have used this shirt 5 hikes now and no sweating. I’m very happy I got this shirt. I bought a Man’s because I am a Tall Woman. It’s nice and long to my Hips and the sleeve are a great length. I also like the red goes great with my winter jacket. Came with free socks. I tried them yesterday, they are comfortable but didn’t keep my feet warm. But no doubt they will be great when it’s not freezing cold. I will check to see if they have thicker ones for the winter as my other socks cause my feet to sweat in my hiking boots. These thinner socks kept my feet dry. I’m thankful for the free socks. I also bought another shirt in a lighter weight and that one is great as well. Also not itchy. I just ordered the pants which will arrive this week. I’m looking forward to trying them out on a freezing cold morning hike. I’ll do a review on the pants purchase after I wear them. I highly recommend merino, it’s made a huge difference on my winter hike. Wish I knew about this product before.

Highly recommended!
I purchased this not as a casual sweater to wear out, I bought it for bicycling in cool/cold weather. I rode 30 miles today in 48 degree weather ( colder riding at 20- 22mph) Not only is very soft and comfortable, it was great for the ride and kept me warm. FYI, I bought the middle heat rating , I think it’s referred to as 240?
