Sanmael Freeze Dried Kimchi 8pcs X 10g(0.35oz), with Rice, Noodle, Soup, Korean Recipe

Very tasty. Just wanted to try kimchi and this was the perfect option as it is freeze dried so you aren't forced to consume a large amount because you opened it and are afraid of it going bad because you spent so much on it. These are small cubes just right for adding to ramen noodle bowls for a different taste treat. Just the right size to flavor the noodles without over whelming other flavors. It has just the right amount to spice without being too hot.

I love kinchi ramen but feel they really don't add as much kinchi to the ramen. If I don't have it fresh (usually I do) or I'm feeling extra lazy, I like to throw one of these cubes into my ramen pot and increase the amount of kimchi. Add a spoon or two of kimchi juice if you have it saved in a jar and a small dallop of gochujang and you've got a savory kimchi broth with your ramen.Only issue is it's pretty pricy so I've gotta be feeling pretty lazy

I guess that I didn't read the product description closely enough to understand that these would be bite sized pieces, and once they are rehydrated they are still just a bite - they taste pretty good, but I tried first to rehydrate one in the microwave and it exploded. LOL. My mistake. The individual packaging states "Korea Tourist Souvenier." If the product description had indiated that, I might have thought of these as stocking stuffers for my friends at work, rather than a tasty snack or lunch. I am giving this item 4 stars because I do like it and I can see a use for it.

These little cubes are nice to add when you boil your Korean ramen soups.

I really liked the product, when it was half the cost. Now, total ripoff. If the price comes back down to reality, I will order it again.

Took this on a camping trip with ramen. Of course it will never substitute for real kimchi but this will most certainly do. It truly enhances the flavor of any cup ramen. Add a little spam too! You’ll thank me later.

I use them in my ramen packs while backpacking. Imparts good flavor but no "texture" or substance - it's not like you plopped a dollop of kimchi in your bowl of soup. Still, the flavor is great and a mainstay of my backpacking meal plans.
