Fish friends will be happy!
I like this Aqueon water conditioner and my guppy friend seems to too! The bottle is quality and a nice big amount for the price. It has a flip-up top with included measuring lid cup that makes it easy to use. The actual liquid is thin, scent-free, and clear light green appearance. You use 1 teaspoon per 10 gallons of tank water so it lasts a long time depending on your tank size. I used to use Prime water conditioner and that smelled like rotten eggs. This has no scent. My elderly guppy does well with this at water changes and it keeps him healthy. I have no negatives to say about this product!

Cheap and perfect for axolotls.
I’ve been using Aqueon's water conditioner for a couple of years, and it works flawlessly. I recommend letting it sit for 30 minutes before adding the conditioned water to your aquarium. Also, be sure to mix it for at least 30 seconds to ensure it fully mixes with the water. It does an amazing job of removing ammonia and lowering pH levels. I've been using it for my axolotls for two years, and they are happy and healthy!

A good product with a less good cap.
A great product that keeps my tap water clean and ready for fish. I had issues with the cap closing properly and it leaked constantly. Other than that the product worked as advertised.

Generally good
Inexpensive and great for buying large quantities. Unlike Prime or other more expensive conditioners, this one just gets the job done, it removes chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, and it helps with fish slime coats. Simple. I have read many people’s 1 star reviews and I don’t know why they are there exactly, but I can almost assure you that the conditioner wasn’t the cause, unless it was some freak accident. It’s just a simple sodium-based dechlorinator and it does it’s job wonderfully. In the event of a sick/ dead fish, there are so many other factors to be considered. Water hardness, nitrogen levels (nitrates and nitrites), ammonia levels, pH, temperature, oxygen content, water flow, ample hiding room, stress from tank mates/things outside the tank, and tank size are all factors. People who use conditioners right, and have taken care to make sure that every other parameter is accounted for will have success using this conditioner with no extra effort. So in conclusion, do your research before buying a fish, and provide accordingly, the conditioner will, well, it’ll condition the water, no problem...(The foam that comes from it is a byproduct of the slime coat additives, and is not a concern.)
