EDOBLUE 1kg 35oz Fake Gold Bar Bullion Door Stop/Paperweight CAS

Size and color fools everybody. It’s lots cheaper than the real thing - great value for the money.

I purchased this a couple of months ago in hopes of keeping my bathroom door from creeping back open when I just pop in to wash my hands. I don't like to always close the door completely. Unfortunately, my front bathroom faces a large livingroom window, and I live on the first floor. So if the door creeps open, and someone is walking by, (on rare occasion), they can actually see me standing at the sink! Well this is pretty, has a good weight, and does the job! There isn't much to say about it, however. It does what it says. I hate reviews like that, but that's the best I can do here! If it means anything, there is NO felt at the bottom like some reviewers have said. It's a fake gold bar, and it acts as a paper weight on my floor!! I would recommend it. Simple, yet pretty!

Nowhere close! Nowhere close! Looks way off. No gold I own, looks like that color. It was such an embarrassment to have around my office, I returned it. The finish is horrible. Finger prints show right away. just as soon as you touch it. Truly sad. I was hopping for something. But, this thing was not even some thing. Also, I bought another one from some one else and it was exact same thing. They were totally identical. Returned that one also. The bar should not be so polished and reflective.

Lots of comments and chuckles from guests and service/repair people. Could be a bit heavier to hold back those heavier, pesky doors. I bought this to replace a rubber door stop. Not as heavy as I expected, but then the shipping would probably not have been free. Plan to fill it with something to add weight so that it will push and hold the door back completely. It could also use some rubber stoppers on its bottom to keep from sliding on linoleum floors.

This actually was supposed to have been cancelled, but I gave it to my boss as a 2nd present and he loved it. He actually thought the first present (by the heft of it) was a gold bar. It was pretty funny that he thought that of the 1st present.

As a doorstop it does what it's supposed to do. I was hoping it would look like real gold bar that you could hand around. It has the weight of a gold bar, looks like one from the top but the bottom is plastic with rubber feet and very cheaply built. Overall you get a nice doorstop with a glossy gold finish as advertised.

Bought this for my Grandson for Christmas. Uses it a prop for all his minecraft and other stories created.
