I read a lot of the reviews and it was difficult to tell whether this would work well with my application. This piece was about 6 inches tall by 4 feet wide and the back was plastic and so I was unsure if the glue would adhere to it. I did sand the surfaces that I would be using the glue on, and the only issue I have with this glue is that there are two versions. One sets up in 20 minutes which was way too short, and the other is this version which takes 4 to 6 hours. And you really need to let it sit for 24 hours. But I will say that once it was all said and done this panel was now part of the car. It’s solid and I don’t think it will ever come off again. I mean it’s like there is no difference between this plastic panel and my car where it’s attached. It’s welded. I did tape the entire area and clamp it. I left it for 24 hours. I’ve been using the rear hatch for a month now. No issues. So obviously the key is to keep it tight and stable till it’s fully cured.
