Really poor printing quality. The pages aren’t even aligned and there’s a barcode printed onto the back, so it makes a poor cosplay prop. Don’t bother with this item.

The front covers resembles the anime and It came with the rules perfectly. Only thing I was concerned about was where you write at but it technically is a regular notebook rather then a cosplay item so it’s still good.

It only has a couple of the first pages, “the rules” in there but none of Lights writing, and it looks like a normal ass notebook after the first like 4-5 pages. Not worth it 😭

There are five pages of rules that are direct quotes from "Death Note: How to Read", but there are many more unwritten rules that do not appear in this replica. In fact, the Death Note as it appeared in the manga had only one page with five *written* rules on it. However, since I've seen so many other replicas try to stuff as many rules as they can into the front to the point where there are barely any blank pages to write on, I feel this is a perfectly suitable compromise.Unfortunately, the rules pages are not centered properly on the page and so about half an inch of white is left on the bottom and side margins. The quality of the printed text (including the cover) is also not great (i.e. slightly blurred) but still perfectly legible. The same goes for the blank pages, although I wish they hadn't added a low-res image to the top of each page -- it's completely superfluous and makes it look worse. The final page has a colophon and barcode.Final assessment: It's a suitable prop for the causal cosplayer or fun curiosity for a relatively low price, but it definitely could be better. Serious cosers or those with higher standards are advised to look elsewhere.
