Apple 30-pin to USB Cable

Official / OEM product that looks and feels great. I bought this to replace what was apparently a non - OEM cable that came with my iPod Classic (7th gen / slim) purchase that had stopped functioning and was starting to split apart at the 30 pin end. My immediate response when opening the box and plugging in was one of disappointment. Plugged into my 5 port Anker wall charger there was no indication it was charging. Figured I had made a bad connection and tried disconnecting and reseating the connection. Nada. Frustrated, I went into my box of old chargers that everybody has and pulled out my old OEM iPad charger. No joy. After some more rummaging, I found an old iPhone 4 charger and tried the cable one more time... SUCCESS! Charged quickly and without issue. Don't know if this is related to my iPod's charging circuit or some built in protection, but it seems that using a charger with a higher wattage output was causing the iPod to not charge and once I plugged into a charger that matched the original wattage, the problem resolved itself. TL;DR - Cable works great, but if you have issues might need to check charger compatibility with older devices like iPod Classic.

I bought a used ipod through Facebook, and the aftermarket cable that came with the ipod charged it just fine via a wall charger, but my computer would not detect the iPod. I tried installing the drivers manually, i tried old versions of itunes, i tried rebooting the computer, and i tired disabling/enabling the drivers, but nothing worked until i got this original cable. I feel it’s a little pricey, but it worked for what i needed, so i can’t complain.

I had to buy this for my iPad because the original Apple cable stopped working. I bought an alternative brand and it stopped working too, although it lasted longer than the Apple. I would expect Apple to design something much better than this. The connector is very fragile and the strain relief is totally inadequate for the job. It always feels like you will break something when you plug it in. It is slow to charge, but faster than the previous ones and that is why I am giving it 4 stars.

Prepare to be transported back to 2012, the date marked on the box. This is the genuine item. It replaced the cables I had, which had ripped to shreds and charged very slowly. This charges my iPhone 4 correctly again. Of course, in ten more years it too will likely degrade and then we'll see if they still sell them in 2032.

I used this for my iPod nano. I could not find the original . This one worked instantly. little pricey but worth it.

I found my old ITouch, but had no 30-pin to USB cable. This was delivered and I was pleasantly surprised. The cable is definitely Apple and it attached to my ITouch easily. The ITouch began charging. It is an ITouch 3rd generation. Unfortunately it had been ages since I used it-as you can see by the date displayed. It is currently August 8th and the screen says December 31. So, I had to reset it, go through the new setup process. So much has changed since this ITouch was created. I checked if the iOS was up to date. It says it is @ 5.1.1. LOL. Well the charge is going fast, but I’m not sure what I can actually do with it.

Es original, llego en su empaque, tambien original, correctamente empaquetado, carga muy bien, me cuentro muy satisfecho; resolvió todos mis problemas.
