returned as it was like fake
all arms seemed fake...nothing worked.. the so called "spring loaded pin" on the top was static... so either the camera/flash should have a hole to accomodate it... plastic looked good though... hence one star overall useless product...

Sturdy product with a doubt about its usefulness
Pros:Built quality of the product is very good.Con:Could not understand usefulness of the black lock-pin type of thing beside the screw. The lock pin being fixed in nature would be obstructive with most of the external monitors.Would request the seller to explain the usefulness of the fixed lock-pin.

Better than expected. Build quality is good and tightens properly to hold load. Base measurement is accurate and slides in hot shoe mount easily.
