I bought this mat so that I didn't have to worry about burning my desk with solder. Based on the specifications for the mat, I wouldn't really use this for the anti-static if you are working on components that are sensitive to ESD. The best part about this mat is that it didn't come from the same 3D print mold as most of the other soldering mats listed on Amazon. It has a no-slip texture on the underside of the mat. If you aren't very concerned about ESD, this mat will make you very happy.

Order shipped very fast and product was almost perfect upon arrival. The mat had a spot that was cracked and peeling. I contacted the seller who responded very fast. The seller was very polite and replaced the mat without any hassle. All products can have imperfections so this was not the sellers fault and they took very good care of me.The replacement mat is fantastic and performs as expected. The mat is non-conductive and ESD safe with a very durable top side layer that is resistant to high heat soldering irons - unlike the cheap silicone mats that are a complete waste of time and money. This product will see many years of use in my home electronics workbench.

This mat is simple and made of excellent materials for a great price but has an offensive plastic-like odor that does seem to go away with time.To reduce the odor I rinsed it with tap water which seemed to help somewhat. I also found some suggestions to leave it outside up to 48 hours in a safe area to help air it out.Other than the initial odor, this is an excellent mat and is great for working on electronics.

This mat is as advertised. The surface is smooth and unblemished. Does a fine job of protecting my antique desktop from solder work. It has a faint odor, but it was almost unnoticeable on the first day, unless I remembered to determine if it still had an odor.The edges are not evenly cut... one edge is rough, and the corners are look like someone rounded them with scissors. A very good rounding job, but still not machine-cut. This in no way diminishes the usefulness of the mat, but it may be annoying if one doesn't want a DIY appearance in a commercial product.

Very good quality mat. Lays flat. I like the blue color and it does it's job.The cut on one side was a bit rough, but I expect that the mat will get a lot of dings in it's life, that is ok.I like the idea that it has been recycled as well.

I am an electronics hobbyist. Do light soldering. Great for protecting my wooden work top.Also work on and repair computers and cell phones. Anti-static feature is great.Overall, a great product with excellent features and a very fair price.Would buy from this company again.

Seems to protect the table surface well. Rolls up easily for storage and lays flat when in use. I would buy another one if needed.
