I saw a lot of reviews about defective products. I just wanted to chime in and say I have had mine for a couple of years and it has been perfect since day 1 and I love mine. Given the vignette of all of the experiences of everyone who purchased one, it may be a luck of the draw to order one? But I have been so happy with mine and its reliability that I was surprised to see all of the bad reviews.

This product is junk. Period. There is barely a visible flame which is a design flaw because if you hold the lid, just write, you might get a little bit more flame, but there is no way to prop the lid correctly. Also, there is barely any scent that comes regardless of how much oil you put in. It shuts off randomly for no apparent reason. Contacted the manufacturer and they were completely useless and unwilling to help in any way. Have purchased other products from this manufacturer directly from their website, however will never purchase another one of the products again.

This is my second Stalder diffuser. I had the Jasmine and now this one. I love the design, the flame effect, the continuous smell. The problem is that both broke within a year. From previous experience, I understood that I need to be careful with water, and I tried my best with this Zoe that i loved so much, unfortunately it also stopped working within one year of purchase.Edit on February 2023.After my first review, I have retried the steps in the description to the word (1.Unplug the unit 2.Empty the water tank completely, rinse out with warm water (being sure to avoid getting water into the air input) 3.Plug in the unit 4.First press the LED button and afterward additionally the on/off button 5.Keep pushing both buttons together for 2-3 seconds 6.The LED button should blink twice 7.Fill up the water reservoir and restart the unit) after few attempts, the diffuser worked again! Since then, I rinse it between fills with hot water and it works without the reboot trick.

Great product - I LOVE it!

Followed the directions. Used only distilled water (as I do in all my diffusers). Was careful to NOT use any essential oils with alcohol as directed. Was careful to NOT get any water anywhere it wasn't supposed to go. Did NOT overfill the device. Worked great all day next to my bedside. Unplugged it, put it back into the box, transported it to my office...where it hasn't worked correctly since I plugged it in this morning! It starts up, then stops in less than five seconds. Tried emptying the water and replacing. Made sure no water had gone anywhere it wasn't supposed to. It ran for a minute or two, then died again. As other reviewers have said, there's an area where they don't want you to get water inside it, but it is in a place where you could accidentally have a droplet of condensation from the lid fall into the space when you're removing the lid! For the money, there is NO WAY I'd recommend buying this. Thank goodness I have the packaging and just got this a day ago, so I can send it right back!

I saw this product in a YouTube video and had to have it. It was very soothing and beautiful for 6 months. Then it stopped working. I keep going back to try it again every few weeks. Aside from the price, I wouldn't buy a replacement because the same thing may happen again. Too bad. Loved it and it broke my heart.

It's cool but too sensitive.
